As we're all honest honest here, I will tell you a secret..... My bed gets very dog hairy which I hate but I love my dogs more so I let them sleep in the bed with us, yes under the duvet!

To solve this problem I actually throw the duvet back and Hoover the sheet and duvet a few times a week to pick all the hairs up then I spray a bit of est!e Lauder on the sheets and leave the duvet thrown back with the windows open to air!

I don't change the bedding every week but when it's done it's always on a very hot wash 60 or 90 and ironed and put away nicely in a drawer with something nice smelling in it. That way I feel that the bedding is nice and hygienic when it's in the drawer but very much in need of a wash when it goes in the machine ifswim lol xxx

Normally it's weekly but not for the last two weeks now - but thats because I've only spent a couple of nights at home in those weeks so will probably leave it until my next day off to get round to doing it.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

I don't wash mine every week - more like every 3 weeks lol. Saying that there is just me in a double bed, I use a top sheet, I shower before bed and I wear pyjamas lol.

A good reminder - must change the beds! I usually do ours about once a fortnight. I am a poor sleeper and OH snores so quite often end up in separate rooms!

I wash my bedding on 60 - a throwback to 35 years ago when my nephew contracted impetigo and we were told everything needed to be washed at minimum 60 degrees.

I had no idea on this until my ex left me. I change my bed linen every two weeks, although if i've been away for work I might skip a week. I just wouldn't have the time to change more frequently. My son (whose room is a bomb site) I change when I can...

Think it depends on circumstances!! I have a hubby that sweats like anything and I have to wash mine every week and i wash bedding on 60, but my nana's carer suggested as my nan is on her own and not as able, to just flip over the duvet once so she washes it every two weeks.

Once every 3 weeks, usually. I sleep alone, I sleep in PJs (which get changed every few days), shower before I go to bed.

And I only sleep under one flat sheet (no duvet for me) - I like to be cold in bed; it's never warm! I *might* add a blanket if the temp drops a lot below freezing.

I wash bedding - as with everything else - on 30 degrees.

Once a week on Sundays but I only wash the mattress protector every couple of months.

I love getting into a bed with clean sheets but I just can't be bothered to change them more often.

Possibly!! I've got a 13 tog duvet and use it all, year round. Plus nice thermal pjs for winter (which hubby hates). Can't imagine only having a sheet, I'd never get to sleep! I struggled with just a sheet whilst in the Caribbean...
