Love threads like this! That sounds tragic doesn't it?
Ours are done probably every 3 weeks.....sometimes a bit longer. Whenever I remember really!
Yep and I'm pretty sure that by the time I have finished I have worked up such a sweat that they are worse then they were before I washed them lol!!
I don't work, I leave that to OH so I have the time.0 -
Probably every two weeks. I'd love to do it every week, but by the time I finish all the other washing, I'll be damned if I have to fiddle about with duvets and sheets and pillowcases.:omarlasinger0

Every 3-4 weeks, I sleep on my own and have a double bed. I never think my bed smells or seems dirty so I think this is sufficient, but I do love the night where fresh bedding is put on the bed
.
I think they're washed on a 40 degree cycle.0 -
Reading through this I am gobsmacked that some people eat in their beds! I find that very, very strange! I could never eat in my bed, my worst nightmare would be having crumbs on the sheets! My daughters are my world0

I hate to admit it but we only do it once about once every 6 -7 weeks. I used to go half a year until my now hubby moved in, but he suffers with eczema, so it generally gets done when he says his skin's really itchy.0

Every two weeks, winter or summer. We usually shower before bed, neither of us are extra sweaty and while we have 4 cats they aren't allowed in the bedroom. DD is now 16 and responsible for changing her own bed linen (I won't enter her room for fear of injury it's so messy). I haven't seen any of her linen for some time.....yuck. How can teenagers be so obsessed with their clothing, make up and appearance but so completely disgusting when it comes to everything else?0

Thank you for all of your replies. It's interesting to hear what others do and I realise that I am probably about average. I love the feeling of clean sheets so for me, changing the bed is a bit like treating myself!0
