Err...whenever they start to look like they really need a wash or I fancy a different design! Maybe once every two months on average, sometimes more sometimes less . I'm obviously a dirty girl!0

Once a week, usually a Sunday...no pets or lovers lol, shower or bath at least once a day.0

I live by myself and have showers most nights so usually change the bed every couple of weeks, But if i have company and the bed gets mucky it will be more often.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

Every 1-2 week's; aim for once a week though. Only a few reasons it gets changed earlier than that - e.g. illness. The bed gets aired daily and their is no eating in the bed.
With regards to washing we use a dehumidifier in the summer to help dry and we have a heated clothes horse to use with the dehumidifier in the winter now. Doesn't cost all that much, certainly cheaper than a tumble drier as you can dry more than 1 load at a time.I am a vegan woman. My OH is a lovely omni guy0 -
Once a week, definatley would't let anymore time go by than that! It I had time or drying space, it would be more often! Change the teens bed once a week, and the younger ones beds once a fortnight.0

At least once a week in summer, 7-10 days max in winter.
What do people do about mattress & pillow protectors?
I change mine at the same time as I change the bedding so they're washed with the same frequency.
And how long do you wash your bedding for?
I was having a conversation with someone about washing (I know, I should get out more :rotfl:) and they said they do everything on a 30 degree 15 minute quick wash.
I'm not sure I'd be happy with that for my bedding.
Re getting stuff dry:
When we bought our bedding (Egyptian cotton), it says (unbelieveably) not to tumble dry so we bought this:

It fits into our spare bedroom and I can get the mattress protector over it and then the following day, the sheet & duvet cover.
With the door closed, it dries stuff OK.0 -

Bed changed 1 / week in summer and 1 / fortnight in winter on a Sunday (just love those Sunday nights - pampering bath .... all nice & clean & jumping into a lovely crisp, clean bed - heaven!:)).
Never ever eat in bed .... just couldn't!
Having an  at a 30 deg wash (maybe just me?) as mine's always done on a hot wash (bugs, sweat and other things .......) to make sure it's really clean - is that just me?Re getting stuff dry:

This is very similar to the one I've got - Lidl do them every so often for around £10.
It's absolutely fab & loads of space for stuff.Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

About every 10 days. Wash mine on the cottons cycle, about 1hr30mins at 40 degrees and then tumble dry.
I wash my mattress protector less often, probably every couple of months and wash my pillows about four times per year but buying some new ones today.
Should probably get the duvet washed but going to launderette requires soo much effort...0 -

I wash my bedding at 50 deg (that's what the label says and I'm a good girl and do what I'm told).
I wash it on a 'cottons stains' program and add on a special program called 'wash plus' which gives extra water specially for large loads (king-size duvet & sheet).
It takes 2.5 hours - which I know isn't very MSE.0 -

Do you know, I've had my washing machine for about five years now and I had no idea what 'wash plus' meant. You learn something new every day0
