:grouphug: to everyone today, I think eveyone could do with one  'Specially big one for tinsel - that's rubbish news! Little ones are included as well coz they're all so cute no matter what age they are! :D (Sorry feeling broody...just been looking at my cousins photos of their new baby :o )

Right, time to update my list as I don't know where I'm up to
    • Dailies
      • [STRIKE]Beds[/STRIKE]
      • [STRIKE]Bathroom S&S[/STRIKE]
      • [STRIKE]Dishes[/STRIKE]
      • [STRIKE]Kitchen S&S[/STRIKE]
      • [STRIKE]Livingroom S&S[/STRIKE]
      • Evening Meal - bolognese or savoury mince to go in the slowcooker on high once I can get back in the kitchen (wet floor)
      • WM - Not until DD & OH get in this evening as I'm uptodate/not worth putting whats there in until I have the "uniforms" :j
    • [STRIKE]WM drawer[/STRIKE]
    • Downstairs Floors - quick mop will do after [STRIKE]a hoover.[/STRIKE]
    • [STRIKE]Take DD's birthday cards down - now been up 2 weeks :o[/STRIKE]
    • DD's paperwork into a folder...if I can just find those b**ming dividers!
    • Set up payment for CC for 26th.
    • Ironing
    • Ebay listings...if I feel like it - listed 19 items yesterday but thats no-where near everything listed!
Can't be bothered with the ebay listings. I only have a little while before DD comes home from school and since I need to go and do some food shopping before OH gets in I'm not attempting to "make a mess" with the ebay stuff :rotfl:

Right, look for the answer to a question I have, if I can't find it then I'm off to post a new topic  Laters

Stripped my bed today, all washed dried and put away. Bed remade and all bedrooms and landing dusted and vacuumed. All through downstairs vacuumed too.

Front lawn mowed. Going to do the back either later today or tomorrow. Looks a mess out the back now, the cherry tree next door is shedding all the blossom in the breeze and it's like a snowstorm out there. Makes me feel like it's a waste of time bothering.

Sorry about your rubbish news Tinsel :(

    Hi Tinselfairy,

So sorry to hear things aren't going to plan, we adopted and I know all too well about the ups and downs before you finally get a little one placed with you. We were approached about lots of little ones before our DD was placed with us. Sending big hugs your way!!!!!

  • just popped back to update my list - feeling v motivated this afternoon and think i am going to go and do my en-suite now

Friday Flying - Kids rooms and spare rooms

    1. [STRIKE]Strip beds for wash[/STRIKE], replace linen after [STRIKE]vacuuming mattress[/STRIKE] (don't want bugs do we!)
    2. [STRIKE]Make sure everything is in it's place, or if required delegate to the offending child! [/STRIKE]
    3. [STRIKE]Dust where needed, what about the top of that wardrobe ? [/STRIKE]
    4. Clean window (check incase curtains need a wash while you are there)
    5. [STRIKE]Vacuum floor[/STRIKE]

If this is a spare room you're tackling, which over time has just become a dumping room, give it 15 minutes of your time.

[STRIKE]If you have kids make sure those uniforms are put in the wash ready for Monday. [/STRIKE]Have a little quick tidy and vacuum of the high traffic areas that need it so you can have the weekend off, apart from dailies of course. Have a lovely weekend

Well you can post your weekend dailies if you wish, entirely up to you, some do some don't, I find it helps motivate me. Well done on your first day Em you've done really well (better than I did at first :o) enjoy that vino you deserve it

Tinselfairy, can't even begin to understand how you are feel, just wanted you to know I am thinking of you and your family of course.

Bit from me, was mean't to go to friends wedding do tonight but I just don't feel up to it so here I am :)

Today have managed to gut the kitchen, made room for new FF including removing a bench - downside couldn't borrow saw today so just have a 'hole' for now. Bigger downside DP helped pull all apart and move everything, but now he's gone to work I have to find new places for everything :( Oh what a way to spend my weekend. Anyway I have flung loads of things out, found things I didn't remember I had (was a cupboard under bench couldn't get to but had things 'stored' in it from before) Plus side to that is now I can use that for all my baking sheets, tins etc as before they were in the oven, well most the rest were just hidden and had to be dumped on the bench when cooking as I had nowhere for them :o

Weekend have also decided to do some more flylady 'overtime' After doing the boys room today and loosing my temper a little with the clutter :o have told them they have to help me sort it this weekend, need to clear unused toys for charity shop etc. There is so much they don't use at all. The bribe of do that and we'll get you the game you want for the PS3 seems to be working. Also have the kitchen to finish. So I'll be popping in and out over the weekend, need some motivation :)

Flylady from Monday will look a little different. We're doing a basic task from Monday for newbies aswell as the usual list, has been mentioned newbies find it a little daunting at first. Sure it'll be clearer once it starts.
One day I might be more organised...........
