My mum's was fire lighters (the white wax sticks - she used to crumble them between her fingers and rub them on her face). It's so horrid having a non-edible craving. I totally sympathise with the coal-eaters!

I had non edible with both mine. With my DD it was the smell of hot engines, not exhaust fumes but hot oily engine smells which was fine as I bused to and fro from work so at least I had 2 daily doses :o With my DS it was the smell of the vaccum cleaner so my carpets were the cleanest around and so were my mum's, my friends, my works....you get the picture I'm sure :rotfl:

I always felt I missed out as I couldn't send DH out to get me something at odd times although I suppose i could have...damn, missed opportunities :rotfl:

:rotfl: oh no, I ate it, by the tube full. Craving with oldest were hell, why, because it's not allowed. NUTS!!! I would sneak them knowing we were told not to have them, I didn't find out I was pregnant until almost 6 months and by then had consumed loads, especially icecream snickers! The day he was born my mate brought me in loads of nuts and things containing them as cravings were still there with him being early.

Oh this ones sods law, I washed all winter coats to be put away for next year and someones mentioned we may get snow tomorrow, it's pouring down outside, second one is posted early then gets a text saying swimmings been cancelled (someones pooped in the pool, ick!) so at least I will get the kitchen part way done once boys are in bed.

Sods law for DP also happened, the PS3 is here, told him, but he can't use it. The lead hasn't arrived yet :rotfl: shame eh!

As for the fridge, I didn't get one with water cooler as it takes up a huge amount of space and I only use filtered water anyway (black bits in water here regular and it tastes manky)

Have freecycled the old one, it's not perfect and did state that, still got 20 replies requesting it. Feel awful saying no to some. Some were just plain rude so they didn't get it. Guy I have offered it to offers loads of items on our local freecycle so chose him.
One day I might be more organised...........

  • Just got back home from work, thanks for all the suggestions for removing hair dye and perfume. I sprayed some perfume on before I left work and it didn't smell horrible, so it's probably ok, though I think I might stick it on freecyle as I know I'm not going to use it.

The BF is off out in under an hour, so I should be able to fly and get some studying done without being interrupted. Must get him to get the loft ladder down before he goes, and it's dead easier for him to do that being 6'4 compared to my short 5'2.

Right off to find some food.

    Good evening everyone,

Not done much today, apart from my normal dailies (bathroom, toilets and kitchen swishes). Did a little bit of weeding in the garden, but still havnt been able to find my get up and go, so thats been it!!!
I have just made the packed lunches, and folded up the washing (dd picked it in for me), the dishwasher is loaded, and i just need to turn it on.

When i was pregnant with DS, i used to crave raw cake mix (not allowed) and bleach, which, because you cant drink it, i used to spray in the kitchen and sniff - it used to make my eyes run but i loved the smell!!!

Michelle - hope your aunty improves soon xxx

Right, i have a glass of white wine, and im going to see whats in the fridge!!! Have a lovely evening everyone,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Oh catowen hope your get up and go appears soon, when you're looking keep an eye open for half of mine please, feel like half is missing, get motivated a little then it dwindles.

aimeelister best of luck with the interview :)

Kids being a pain in the bum tonight, I know a lot is disappointment, I got the text to say swimming was cancelled as I was getting them in the car, by which time they were in trunks (under trousers) etc DS1 now finishing warm milkthen he's going up to bed, they are usually there by now, even if not asleep! Tried to do some kitchen jobs but they were moaning, arguing etc non stop so going to start when they are in bed. I need to find places for a lot of things where I am loosing a bench, starting to worry me now.

Maralum - thanks! I'm trying lol! Sometimes I really have to force myself to get going but before flying I'd put DS for a nap and then not get anything done and then I'd feel bad for having a wasted day. Plus as the house is on the market I'm trying to keep it nice. Am lucky as baby Sam is so good. How many weeks are you now?

As for cravings mine were ice cubes! Loved them, brought the big bags, smashed them up with a hammer and then used to sit infront of tv crunching. Drove DH mad! Got the taste for Rasberry Leaf tea with blackcurrent but think that was just because I thought I'd have a faster labour - worked though. Unfortunately almost everything else used to make me puke!

  • All this talk of strange pregnancy cravings I'm glad I have no intention of having children.

Just a quick catch up before I start studying.
The bedroom ceiling has finally been cleaned :) I've only spent 2 years staring at those grubbing fingerprints.
Parcels have been done for posting tomorrow
Done the bank account shuffle now that my money from paypal has transfered
Clean washing moved upstairs and on the bed so I'll get put away before I go to sleep
Shower screen is finally clean, took the sliding doors off it was so yuck. Still have to put them back on.
Flapjack has been made - but yet to be eaten :(
Bathroom is all clean except the bath, as I intend to get in it later

Still have my study to do, but that shouldn't take me long as it's reasonably tidy just needs a quick flick with the duster and a few bits and bobs put away.

Right study time, if I'm on here in the next hour give me a kick up the backside

  • Well this evening i actually quite fancied tackling the bedroom (a once in a blue moon occurence), went upstairs and DOH has decided to do some study in there
However i have put all winter coats and jumpers away - so you all know who to blame if it snows next week! Had a rearrange of stuff i've been meaning to do for ages. And yesterday we finally took the plunge and took down ds's cot. He has had two beds in his room for ages now - we were hoping he would decide to move to the big one but it seems he needed a little push! So now there is some more space in his room :T and we have a big addition to the "to go in the loft" pile :o
Will do our bedroom tomorrow, no chance of DOH studying two days in a row!
Millions long for immortality who don't know what to do with themselves on a rainy Sunday afternoon.

Hi All, I'd love to join in with you all on the Flylady thread. I joined up to the flylady website about eighteen months back and really got into it, I even bought the book :A but at the moment I've got no motivation whatsoever and I need a kick up the backside to get cracking with the housework!!!! What do I need to do? and how do you repost the dailies lists with lines through the tasks when you have completed them? Can't wait to get back into it.

    Em :D
Marriages are made in heaven, but then again so is thunder and lightning!!!.....getting divorced lol :j
