I am also interested in any recent experiences people have had with adoption. A friend is halfway through the process and has had a few courses to do, meetings with social workers, had friends interviewed etc. I want to support her as best I can - both during the process and when (all being well) they have a child(ren) placed with them.0

Been there, done that, and now have an 18 yr old daughter who is no different from her 4 older siblings, she is just our daughter!
Yes is was a long and difficult process and some social workers are awful, luckily hers was amazing and on our side.Slightly bitter0 -
