No law of the lane has been broken, and how many people have you taken to court?
To stop unauthorised parking, just install some very cheap drop-down posts. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
I'm sorry you are having problems there, but there are solutions out there that people should use if hey want to protect their property, they are available from about £30 upwards, they are called parking posts. And by the way inconsiderate parking is not illegal, the demands for money often is. Now read up on this scam as I suggested above.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?0 -
That thing that little woman said about writing a letter does sound a good idea in some respect but I'm guessing because there's money involved they'll just say that I should have been more careful.0

Little Women
please post up the claims you have made in the county court and the judgements you have securedFor everthing else there's mastercard.
For clampers there's Barclaycard.0 -
The laws have been updated recently to make clamping illegal.
parking eye v somerfield failed as they were "dishonest" and used "police like letters, falshoods etc" in 2005
hrmc v vcs is a VAT case ealier this year again to do with contactral rights.
vcs v ibbotson failed due to no contract with the owner to sue tresspassers in 2010
There are No Parking Signs on the Walls of the Bin area which the hard standing is next to. When I have photographed cars illegally parked in the past, the signs can be clearly seen in the photograph of the Car.
I arrange a formal warning the first time someone parks illegally (Note left with an offer to let them have a copy of the photograh as proof of illegal parking and a warning if they park illegally again there will be a fine etc next time) . It is only if they repeat the offence I would take it further with a fine and then court.0 -

Little Woman with respects, and I am saying this as MSE has asked us to be respectful to newbies coming here, but you haven't read those cases, just a summary of them, read them in full then come back! As to the illegal stuff you keep spouting, show the statute law for that.Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?

The entrace to the property on a very busy A road, which is splits the village in half. Residents already have difficulty exiting onto the main road, (they often turn left, turn right into the garage and through it to get into the traffic on the other side) and have to turn quickly from the main road, before a Large Lorry drives into them. Parking posts would need to be placed there to stop people from driving in, which would cause accidents. I did suggest a line of parking posts along the side of the hard standing, but I know I for example have a low wall at the end of my front lawn, which is constantly being rebuilt because Vans turning round are constantly driving into it, so I can see it would cause accidents at dusk, as any new, driving in may not see the parking posts and just drive straight into them. I wonder what the liability would be then?0 -
It takes time to look the stuff up you are asking.0
