Yes, you can reclaim your money. Send off the standard letter.

Remember to write in lowercase and with punctuation in your letter though ;-)

    Mint Credit Card

Amount claimed £383 inc int & MCOL fee
    Amount repaid £383

Took 10 weeks from 1st letter requesting statements. Took them to court through MCOL. meanwhile they twice offered me £101 as the difference between the £25 charge and the £12 charge they are "allowed" to apply. Ignored them twice. Got the cheque for the full amount yesterday with the standard letter threatening to close the account ifwe dont like the charges. Obviously haven't realised the account is already closed!

    3 down 4 to go

please could you tell me can i claimfrom denenhams
  • Having recently received a response from GE bank re: closed House of Fraser and Debenhams card accounts, they tell me that they are unable to provide 'a small number' of my statements. I've either got odd months missing or 3 or 4 months at a time, and in 1 instance, 18 consecutive months that are irretrievable! This makes a total of over 15 missing months for 1 card and 27 months for the other!!! Hardly a small number!!

Rather conveniently, all the statements they have managed to provide me with show no penalty charges whatsoever!

Can anyone tell me what my next step is?
    Thanks.
  • Just to say go for it with these store cards!

I claimed back £98 in charges £120 with interest.

Got offered £35 said no would accept £98 within 14 days

Thay said no £35 accept in 7 days or go away

Took out court action which cost £30 for £120 charges

They sent me a cheque for £150 3 days later!!

Also didn't sign anything for this?

P.s this was a closed defauled account.
