  • I don't think I'll order the part from eBay. Something tells me it won't work, but also this laptop has too many problems.

    A couple of days ago the charger started acting funny. Charging/not charging every couple of seconds if I move. So I left it for two days. It wasn't working today either, then I decided to put the plug in a separate socket and son it started charging but I am worried it will stop so I am not moving lol.

    So I'm on the lookout for a new laptop unless someone is going to sell a backlight in the UK.

    Now I'm still fixated on ASUS because I've been told they are most reliable (though their designs aren't as good, but that doesn't bother me). Why should I not choose Asus? is it because of the price?
