(that white wire goes behind the base of the laptop and up into the screen, preventing the plastic part that covers it to click, as it will squash the wire.Cup of Tea? :coffee:0 -
can't you just route it the same way it was before, there is usually an area where leads that go between screen and base clip in, to prevent crushing, or it may be held with tape. Did you remove the screen completely before, if so, you may need to remove it again, and route the wire carefully before replacing the bezel - be very careful to avoid trapping the wire when moving the screen up and down. Do this with power off, and battery removed, and power lead out.!!

I seriously hope it's the inverter as I ordered it yesterday and now the external monitor I'm using has turned blue. It was normal colour, then soon it became orange tinted, now blue. It must be the VGA cable being moved about too much but it's got a new chosen colour and it is not good for the eyes.Cup of Tea? :coffee:0

It could be the vga cable, either not being firmly plugged in at either end, or a broken connection inside the cable, or possibly the external screen itself (unlikely). Probably unconnected to your other problem, assuming you haven't disturbed anything internally.!!

It's probably the cable as if I put it in a certain position it works but I can't stay like that, lol. Hopefully the inverter arrives tomorrow and it works, and I am given the certificate for qualifying by you?Cup of Tea? :coffee:0
