For those of you wanting to keep 0845/0870 numbers included in your inclusive minutes then I suggest you upgrade before 08 May 2007 before the change takes place.

 But you still get to keep the facility if you dont upgrade and your an existing consumer customer.

I'm just wondering if O2 are planning to start charging to call freephone (0800/8) numbers as well. Just a thought, though that would have little impact as most of us would be calling those numbers with a landline anyway.

Calls to 0800/0808/0500 will be excluded also. Their is a work around see post no 26.

Well now that it is almost certain that o2 will exclude these numbers from their inclusive minutes at least I am no longer excluding all other networks when it comes to choosing my next contract. I am sure there will be better value ones around than o2.

So what does this mean for the 0844 access no. we all use for international calls ???

Is it going to be included in calls packages or is that also certain to go ?

All NGN numbers starting 08 including 0844 will be excluded from inclusive minutes for new customers from May 2007.

I think when we'll call to O2 CS to cancel a contract after 12/18 they will probably ask for the reason, we can tell them about 08xxx nos. They might allow those nos.
    Let's see what happens first.

If you dont cancel your contract, and your an existing customer you get to keep them anyway.

My question is: How O2 define "upgrading"?
at the end of thecontract, if I ask for a new phone or a £100 pounds resign credit, would this be treeated as an upgrading?
