Still no solid confirmation that this change is taking place. I've checked with the people I know at O2.
Dont panic their is only about 13 days left, and then your find out for sure.I would not bet against it happening, a number of O2 staff have already confirmed it.;)0 -

Just a thought - when O2 stopped access to 07744 numbers I got a letter well in advance telling me that it was no longer part of my allowance. Haven't recieved such a letter yet...0

This only applies to new customers who starts a new contract as from 01/05/07. Existing customers are not affected.0 -
We won't know for sure until O2 show their hand, which will be on 01 May. There's nothing we can do about it anyway, so let's relax and wait and see.
Or, if you're concerned about losing this benefit and need a contract anyway, why not just take one out and lock these calls into your allowance for the next 12/18 months0 -
Further Update....
Have just heard from my source at O2 that the information relating to this change in the terms and conditions is located in one of the staff monthly magazines.
It states that new and upgrading consumer customers from 08 May 2007 will no longer be able to call 0845/0870 etc etc numbers from there inclusive monthly allowance.
This change is only applicable to NEW and UPGRADING customers on the consumer billing system at O2, so if your on one of the Business tariffs this change won't apply to you. For those of you wanting to keep 0845/0870 numbers included in your inclusive minutes then I suggest you upgrade before 08 May 2007 before the change takes place.
The O2 website I'm being told will be updated accordingly.0
