Will be on the phone at 9am putting a stop on the exchange will need to rearrange the completion date. OH as just said if it dosn't happen by lunch time tomorrow we have 3 1/2 working days to book thing up.

I did it in less than that! You need to PROVISIONALLY book the removal, pay deposit etc., with the agreement that you may need to change to a later date. I worked it that way, ended up exchanging 2pm on the Weds. completed 12 noon on the Friday:eek: removal people did all the packing on the Thursday and finished unloading at my new place by 4pm the next day :cool:
It was VERY stressful and not to be recommended!0 -
It turns out my solicitor isn't at work today! So exchange is fairly unlikely. Jeez.0

Hugs to cealer, I've put a spanner in the works! I've pushed everyone along not done a good job at it though, almost 41/2 months down the line.
My buyers can't get anything right, they are a right pain in the rear, my vendors well I've not got the time to start that story.
I've had enough and told the sols that!

I've exchanged! Complete next MondayUpset my buyers lol, talk about spoilt, they have dragged it out changing mortages changes sols then they didn't send the deposit to exchange, asked daft questions again and again.
They had to agree to my date in the end, well my 3rd date put forward and not theirs.0 -

We exchanged on the sale of my parents' house today (sadly they've both had to go into a nursing home so aren't buying anywhere else) and completion is all set for Friday.......
Only put the house on the market at the end of August, so pretty good going
