  • Boooo just got to see my payslip :( wish I hadn't!

My debts won't be going down anywhere near as quick as I was hoping, and one certainly won't be getting cleared this month. It's truely broke my heart

Oh well ay, as we say on here 'onwards and upwards'. I'll still keep my NSDs going.

Today was pretty good as although i had to spend on a shower door for us my mother in law is paying us straight back for it tomorrow as a treat for sorting her shower door out - so equals to a NSD in my book :)

Chapati pizzas were nice - smoothered with barbeque sauce, chicken and ham topped with mozzerella and an other out of date strong cheese :)

Keep it up everyone number1-smiley.gif we made it to half way

  • I think that's what your book should be called Kat 'onwards and upwards'

Unfortunately I have nothing less to eBay, I'll just have to make sure that if any opportunities come up for overtime that I take it!

Another NSD yesterday, taking me up to 12 in total, off on our weekend away in 3 hours so have lots to do this morning.

Yesterday's meals were mainly throw togethers using up the last few bits from the fridge and the fresh stuff. Will have to do a shop on Monday so will move my planned spend day for next week.

Will update when I get back x

I've been Money Tipped! Debt-free and Proud!
Yesterday made 13 NSDs, but wont be a NSD today as its my food shop day.
My son is off on a trip today with school. Cant believe it cost £10, but less than it would cost me to take him myself, and not a bad price for the fun they'll have. He isnt back until 5pm.

My oldest is off school after being sent home yesterday, and is on about going to the cinema. I have enough money in my paypal account, so i am considering it.

Hi, everyone, have been reading but not posting recently - well done to everyone, half way through! You are all doing so well, I'm truly impressed. Even when we have little slips, at least we recognise them now and can be determined not to to slip again - I think before, those slips were 'normal' for me - probably why I'm now in the state I'm in! However, frugality is now our way forward, and it's great to see how we all feel that bit better for it. At last, we are controlling our money, instead of our money controlling us!
gelmc, happy that you are joining the Secret Sock Society. It's made a huge difference to me, and it does give you that little bit of extra security. Also, I think that putting that little bit left over somewhere else, instead of leaving it in your purse, makes me all the more determined to have a little bit left over, so I can gloat over the fact that I have a bit of spare money. It's making my daughter's upcoming 21st slightly less stressful for me, and I'm already planning what to use my Secret Sock for in 2013! My dream is for a new kitchen, but it would need to be a very big sock for that, plus need to sort out debts first.
Well done to all of you, and well done, NSK, for starting this thread and being such an encouraging and inspiring moderator. Hope everyone has a good day!

Just a quick appeal for some help if you live Sheffield way, which I know some of you do. I'm going to Sheffiled Uni tomorrow for an Open Day, and want to know if there is anywhere free to park that is near the Uni. Your help would be much appreciated x
