NSD#6 for me too though I've had to lend Hubby £10 as he needed to pay his lottery money at work and a mate who owes him hadn't paid back the money he owed my DH, grr!
Forzen fish and home made chips for tea. Also made chilli for tomorrow's tea, bulked it out with mushrooms and managed to make 3 meals out of it so 2 bagged up to go in the freezer0 -
Gosh I crave sth., a fag or crisps or sth. Thank god BF is at the footie and the wee one is sleeping so I can't go out
Listed 16 CDs and a DVD on magpie and will get the pricely sum of £8.22. Actually had them listed before but thought it not worth it, now I do
Thought I had more but unfortunately I took them out of their cases and put them in a CD book. Never mind. BF still has loads in a box (100+) but wants to save them on a computer first. That will happen, like never.
Found a hat, two bags, three dresses and a coat, as well as a watch and my Doc Martens. Will make up the listings and list them as soon as there is a free listing weekend again :T Will go into town on Friday and show my jewelery (silver neclaces, rings, and some older gold rings) to a jeweler. If not show it to Ramsden, then ebay.
Off to find some munchies...:o
Edit: OMG, that took bl**dy ages. It took about two and a half hours to get nice pictures, the good title and all the details (size, material etc) for my future ebay listings together. Better be worth itDEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
That will either go straight into my Secret Sock, or I will delay opening the next envelope for as long as I can.
I'm thinking of adopting this idea of the 'secret sock'. I think it's very apt with Christmas on the way plus it's somewhere to keep the underspent part of your weekly budget.
Apart from that I'm well and truly knackered. Had a parent's evening tonight and got home at 7.30pm. I only had 12 or so sets of parents to see, the appointments are 6 minutes long, yet I had to be there for 3 hours after work. This is one of the major reasons why I want to leave the profession. All the more reason to save so I can buy a house , change career and then have a better work life balance.
Onto NSD 5 now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry no cash generating ideas today but suggestions are extremely welcome x0 -

A big cyber hug. Keep on doing what you're doing and maybe make a list of the things you're grateful for in your life. Hopefully that should help you emphasise the positive and discard the negative!
Sorry you're feeling blue.0 -
yes thats 5 NSDs for me
Very pleased with myself.
Mobile hairdresser tonight for son (already budgeted for £5) mum also now has her haircut at mine but she always brings tea with her too, so win win for me :T as she also brought choc cake for afters
Also had to get work lottery my turn £2 already budgeted for so not a spend either, and the other 3 workmates would be upset if i didnt get it today lol
I have to admit i have peeked at the grabbits but so far managed to not succumb as i fear having to confess to the NSKUpdating .................................................

Hi all can I add NSD number 4 please xStarted again 25th December 2017
Current tracking - £7,955.84/ £18,282.25 to pay off. (31.12.19)0 -
Hmm, kind of a spendy day for me - I had the opportunity to attend a Q+A session with the cast and director of Gambit after the film premiere. It was completely spontaneous...and we all know that spontaneous and MSE often don't go well together  I was absolutely ravenous when I emerged afterwards (I think I would have gladly parted with a crisp £10 if anyone had waved food under my nose!!!) so I spent 75p on a bar of chocolate to see me through til I got home, where I had a spot of toast and marmite (Thanks CupcakeSquirrel for the inspiration
). Now, although I spent 75p cash, I ended up getting an off-peak tube rather than the peak time one I was planning so as a result I saved £1.50....and, on my way to the tube station, I checked in at a load of stores using my Quidco app and made another £1.85 :T:T
So, overall I gained from my impromptu night out but technically I spent actual cash so can I count it as a NSD? I shall await the yay or nay advice from the good people of NOvember-land before declaring or not......
PS Cranny44, I can't wait to see your post where you declare NSD number 25 :rotfl:0
