I spent £20 :( It's sickening how quickly that money disappears. This is why I've not been out since January.
I have made amends somewhat though. I've cancelled my weekly (budgeted) swim for the rest of the month in order to claw back the money.
Still feel pretty ashamed of myself though

I was aiming for a dignifed silence on this, but can't deny that what you are referring to made my blood boil . I was also secretly hoping that I would have the support of my fellow Just say NOvemberists, andKat you are certainly looking after your flock BIG STYLE today. Much appreciation! x
ps will post properly later
Well done gelmc for not reacting to the troll-wannabe. Perhaps they're one of the teachers who doesn't have to take home work every evening/weekend or spends the school hols in school prepping. I think kat has frightened them off:D
Still trying to plan meals for next week. Trying not to fall into my old ways and be a little more frugal. I usually buy 3 for £10 packed meat - why? I can usually buy similar for less if I look for cheaper cuts of meats or value meat0 -

You have paid your dues honeybunch... don't beat yourself up too much. its learning where the money goes and making amends which you have done! We are just aiming to be more careful... however I don't want this ruining the rest of your NOvember.. remember.. Onwards and Upwards.. its a learning curve...“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent".0 -
Tru dat Kat, tru dat! LOL
I'm still going to have a secret challenge in my head to make it to the end of the month with the £15 that would have remained of my original budget though. Hehehe I refuse to be beaten by a pub-based slip-up!

Mine was nearly a macaroni and cheese slip up...“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Just having a quick rest from the job application filling in
Have filled in 3 so far, the application forms for the council jobs are soooo long and the NHS ones arent exactly short!
Have written a list for my online shop, which has come to a total of £43.61, so will do that later.
Kat- well done for no macaroni cheese in the canteen (cant bear the stuff personally!), enjoy the HM version this evening for dinner, well deserved
Gelmc- well done for not reacting to the post, it was totally uncalled for and i am glad they havent posted again (i dont think they'd dare with Kat around)

That's all my spends finished for the day, picked up a few bits that I had forgotten to get on Tuesday, paid for parking at hospital, on the upside the orthodontist said DS1 has beautiful teeth:) not got to go back for six month and then only to check retainer etc.
Looking forward to a NSD few days now, as it is scary how easy it is to spend! Looked at petrol gauge and don't need to put any petrol in until next planned spend day, so good result. I may just manage to save a bit on petrol bill for month by doing all the school runs by walking:)November NSD's - 70 -

What a killer NSD today.
I was taken out to a craft shop (better than a sweetshop IMHO) and didn't buy anything despite tons of fantastic goodies.
All I could think of was how disappointed NinjaSavingKat would be with my weakwilled behaviour, and letting down all the others who are doing so well.
When I came home I had a good rummage through the stuff I already had, and found something almost identical I'd bought last year in a Sale as a 'MUST HAVE', which was still in the package.
It's another fish based meal tonight with stuff from the freezer. If I carry on at this rate I'll have to change my sign in title to FLIPPER.I divorced my First Husband on Religious Grounds:A

Its horrible knowing that you are always the person that people offload on, yet nobody would do the same for you. Sending you loads of hugs.x.
Also thank you searching_me and gelmc for the hugs much needed
And Katyes your right i need to start doing more for myself.
