  • Hi,
Ninjakat,, I am in Airdrie,Scotland.Rain has finally stopped lol. Heating is off,I rarely put it on,the duvet keeps me warm enough. On my 2nd film as we speak, I am thinking of watching the lord of the rings trilogy from dinner time to pass the full night lol.
I reckon I can go to Monday without spending,I will need to get milk by then, so all in all the first 5 days should be a breeze. Easy easy easy easy!!!!!!!!:T:T:T

Well it sounds like you are having a splendid day!! There is nothing quite like a LOTR marathon. Dare you to stay awake though! I have plans to be fed and watered at friends houses at the weekend so this should be another couple of NSD's in my bucket... and overtime to get more money in on Sunday...WOOHOOOO!!!

Easy peasy is what we love... lets get back to the basics!!!!

His_Missus....as for your internet the universe is with you and helping where we sometimes have difficulties...( ask Heffi1 about avoiding Quidco..:)) but I may have added some subliminal "only allow essentials" tracking on your ISD number and flick a switch now and then...

I do have the willpower to not give in to impulse buys, I'm very much more of a browser than a shopper. Just spent my lunchtime wandering around town with no inclination to buy anything.

Hubby has just texted to say we need to buy cat litter on the way home, the bag I thought was half full was in fact less than half a litter tray full, oops! Wonder if I can con him into buying it?:D
  • His_Missus.. turf moggy outside!..( kidding )

  • The best part of the day so far.........?????

The work do has not started yet, but the colleague that is leaving cleared out her desk. She found a prize from a while back that was not distributed for whatever reason...this prize?? ...

    .... 1kg of pasta! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

It has been put on my desk. That is a week of NOvember sorted right there. I have pesto in my fridge and pine nuts ( which will be toasted ).. a spend day will see baby tomatoes bought and this will be tossed together with come of the 1kg of cheese already in my fridge!!

YEAH for weird things lurking in desks!!!

P.S.. she has also brought in treats so I am having a chocolate eclair filled with cream with my soup. Nom nom nom....

I am hoping to con mine into buying milk, which we will run out of today thanks to DS being home and eating as much cereal as he can

Ninja - where do you work where 1kg of pasta is considered a prize? :rotfl: If I had no Hubby, I could live off pasta and tinned tomatoes but he's not a fan of tomatoey pasta:(

    Hi,
Yes the washer arrived, told the delivery drivers how strong and fit they looked to make sure they delivered and didn't take one look at the task of getting it in to my home and running for the hills(flattery got me everywhere it had them practically running it in balancing it on their little fingers,LOL!) used the ecowash and was well chuffed, is that just sad? yes still drinking the earl grey not too sick of it yet......

Loving the tales of how sad we are - I sat yesterday looking at my £80 cash shopping budget, counting it more than once and wondering how I can still have £10 left on 30 November :rotfl:

Declaring NSD 1 and 2! Nothing spent yesterday and I'm at work for the rest of today so nothing to spend it on (and don't have any cash with me anyway!)
