NSD no 2 for me today. BF wanted to celebrate an award he won at work with a few drinks, but he bought them. Also needed "liquid gold" for the car (love that term) but again since BF was out anyway he got that. Not much planned for the weekend so should bag at least another one. Might have to get some fresh fruit and veg for next week on Sunday though. Better carefully think what else I would need as I better get that on Sunday the spend day. Probably gonna order bottles and jars for the Christmas limoncello and chutneys, but see first what I still have, plus that will come out of my Christmas savings and doesn't count.
Have a nice weekend

Don't beat yourself up, think positive. Tomorrow is a new day and a new chance to try again. Plus we're all here to support you. Take me ok I had 2 NSDs but I feel like I cheated cause I got hubby to pay. Plus also see the real positiv all your spends were budgeted and you successfully avoided frittering which is the main objective.

Well the spag bol went down very well with my other half and DD. It does seem to help leaving it simmering for hours in the slow cooker rather than on the gas hob (even on the simmer burner).
I've still got half the pasta I cooked ready to make the tuna/ pasta/ celery/ spring onion/ cucumber/ mayo etc salad for lunch tomorrow so no gas for cooking until evening, which will be microwaved to warm up.
Question - I do like to get the paper every day, which would mean no NSD for November. I could get it on account and pay every 2 weeks.
Should I? Or give them up altogether? It's 55p per day, or I could swap for the 'i' at 20p a day.
I've not bought one yet this month, but sometimes they have really useful articles in that I rip out for future reference.I divorced my First Husband on Religious Grounds:A

Missyv30 - tomorrow is indeed another day! You budgeted that's the most important thing!
Searching_Me...I love an arts and crafts day! Good old fashioned fun times. Excellent when the little ones are on board as well... and well done on the cola consumption!
ZsaZsa I am desperate for some Tesco Cheese Puffs.. or Ringos.. or chipsticks...I WILL SURVIVE WITHOUT CRISPS!!!..But I want some..
Cranny44 - where on earth are you getting all these little animation thingies...?
Skintsue...any way you could get you're paper online? I know the Times charges, but others are free now. This way you could make a folder to save articles, and save on folders / space etc in the house..?“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence.
