. Plus also see the real positiv all your spends were budgeted and you successfully avoided frittering which is the main objective.

Hey all,
Just popping by to report my first spend day of the month (£5.36). I'm pooch sitting for my brother this weekend and his cupboards are bare so I had to head to asda to get some supplies. He was very sweet, leaving me a pizza and some beers, but I'm here for 3 days!! LOL :rotfl:
Should be no spends for the rest of the weekend as I'm just sitting in with the doggles and enjoying a 2 hour Dave Grohl fest on scuzz! :T
Happy weekend to you all xx

Was teetering on going out and buying some books I'd seen in a second hand book store in town which were WAY cheaper than anything online...
Then I thought - NO! I have LOADS of unread books... So instead I made soup! Used some of the veggies I had in for carrot and coriander soup and then made the base stuff for a lentil and halloumi salad later on (had the halloumi in already!) using up tomatoes and lemons that were on the verge of being chucked out! Feeling very thrifty and pleased that so far have managed a NSD!!!

Thanks Candy
She thought i was insane for even trying it, and almost died of shock when i told her my weekly shopping bill was no more than £60..she said she spends about £150 a week for her, her husband and 14 yr old, and thought i was starving my kids to death...hardly!0 -
