Happy NOvemebr all I am so excited by this challenge and have planned and planned so fingers crossed I really think I can do it :j I am just back from work without spending anything. I am going out tonight which I had already budgeted for. Then I the saw that I can get cinema tickets via clubcard points so I have used some of those instead. Good Luck everyone we are going to have a great NOvember I think. P0lly xJBFF # 20 NSD 12/25

I've not really told anyone about the challenge (maybe I should and do them a favour and help them save money).
I've not even told hubby as I'm interested in seeing how long it will take him to notice the snacks etc are slowly vanishing.
Same here, he would just call me crazy. Plus he always says money might be tight and we need to save more but you also have to keep living (i.e. have fun, the odd drink etc). So I do it "in secret" see if he notices the changes and then show him how much I've savedDEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
so far so good - no money spent ! have zumba tonight so will not be doing anything else or going near any tempting shops!!Love reading the oldstyle board...always something to learn!0

Today has been my 1st NSD too, which is the first one in a while, embarassingly!
Looking forward to my next 24
I have done my online shop ready to be delivered tomorrow, renewed library books so we dont get fines, and not used the car.
I am guessing that i will be able to get away with not using the car apart from to go to the jobcentre on Tuesday.
EDIT to say that my OLS only came to £33!! Thats most definitely a first! I know i need to get milk and biscuits too though, but i'll do that tomorrow, so i dont have to declare 2NSDs, just the one for tomorrow0 -
Hi,can I join please? We've just moved into a new flat (our first!) and I now have a nice fat credit card balance to get rid of. I have one DS, but I got my shopping delivered yesterday, so shouldn't need to buy much other the essentials for the rest of the month. I'm declaring our food/nappy budget to be £200, but hopefully I can get this down. DH and I are both looking to lose some weight, so a little less food on our plates will do us well.
I need to work out when new direct debits will be coming out. I will also have to cook. I'm not a wonderful cook, so if we live through to December it will be a minor miracle.
I have limited internet access (waiting for a phone line to be put in) but I will be keeping a paper diary and will update when I visit my parents.
Good luck everyone!HSBC Credit Card £608.69, HSBC Overdraft: £4123.67, HSBC Loan: £8,270.69

Ninja you are a gem! I have about 10.00 worth of boots points so think I will be able to spare 1.99 from that for mascara.
