Yeah. I was surprised at how dull the screen was on full brightness.

    No, you haven't.

Well let's hope it doesn't get obsoleted in just 7 months. (the new iPad)

I'm sure it won't. Apple do a pretty good job keeping their devices up to date.

I'm not really interested in 7" tablets myself. If I'm going to get a new one its likely to be a 10" model.
why would anyone take the advice of someone that openly admits to never having used the device and also admits they have not interest in the form factor!?

    At what cost?

My 64Gb iPod Touch 4th generation has slowed to an absolute crawl under the 5 something and now iOs6 updates. It's only good for listening to music and ereading, not any of the other functions it was designed for.

Releasing something like the iPad Mini which already has dated specs means it won't run well in a years time.

You've just perpetuated an internet myth a little further, well done.

The real story behind the sign?

TFL hadn't updated their LU tube map app to iOS 6, the actual instruction from TFL was that if an iOS 6 user complained about a lack of app to offer them a paper map.

Some intellectual halfwit (or Android user) member of staff managed to make a total !!!! up of the instructions.

I think it's clear that discussing this with you is not an option. Customers will buy whatever tablet they like best at the price they can afford. I'm sure the iPad Mini will sell millions for Apple to people who like it better than what the competition have to offer.
