Got my court date for the 14th September...
Phoned the litigation team to see if they want to settle early... A man rang me back and said that they would be able to deal with my claim at the end of August as they are dealing with all of July`s court dates and then will have August`s to do... so I have to wait and see what will happen!!

They will most probably pay you in full just before court date.

    Dont Worry.

 any idea how much it would cost to start court action to recover 382.00 ? thanks

    hi.
To claim that amount it would cost you £50.00, if your on benefits go direct to your local court with proof of entitlement, eg, bank statements and letter from the DHSS and you wont pay, or otherwise go through MCOL and pay £50.00 then you can claim it back from the courts in the same way.

good luck and gold out for the lot.

Dont worry they settled with me before the hearing, what I did was( personal choice), was send a recorded delievery letter to the litigation department and the contact that I had been dealing with at Barclays office, that way its just a gentle push in the right direction to say hi Im here, I want my money.

    Good luck

    Hi,
I started Aug last year against Barclaycard, but didnt start court proceeding to April this yr, they settled in full + 8% interest on the charges + my court fees.

I helped my cousin with his claim against a bank he got 4k back in charges, that was after the 1st letter asking for the charges back.

we were due to go to court today (19th July), I got the settlement letter on tuesday 17th july, I dont know how Abbey work, but I would say a lot of people have claimed and won, good luck

    Hi.

No probs i got the letter on tuesday, rang up and accepted, but on condition that they added on interest, I emailed across saying yes, ( that speeds up the process), also wrote in, and the money went in yesterday, thou they did credit my barclaycard account, as that way you get the money quicker, done me a favour as its clearer the account and the + balance (£150) instead of using my debit card for purchases just use that.

    Good luck with your claim
