Hi thanks to Martins excellent site and all the brilliant advice on here I have recently took steps to sort out my finances.
Part of which was attempting to reclaim my charges from Barclaycard.
I sent the 1st letter at the end of July reclaiming my charges which amounted to £600 + £150 interest. As I had no reply I sent the second letter yesterday via recorded mail which said I would be prepared to accept £700 without prejudice.
The only problem is I have received a letter today from Barclaycard offering me the full £750 as a gesture of goodwill! Doh!
Have I just lost myself £50 or do I just need to write to accept their offer and disregard the second letter!

Have i shot myself in the foot!

Is there anything specific I need to mention in the letter to accept.

Or will something along the lines of... "ref your offer dated... I am willing to accept etc etc" do

I will finish early to get it sent off! I can never do anything straightforward!

    Many thanks

And i have got a question regards to intrest which i can claim back: which one is it on my statment? Intrest on your cash balance or intrest on your standard balance cos they charge me both.
