  • :D I received a letter from Barclaycard today , they offered me £276 as good will gesture but my claim is for £780 so wrote back saying take it as part payment, but will continue to court for the rest,
Cap one have now Acknowledged claim so dragging it out they have till the 24th july to defend so hope that goes ok as we go on holiday on the 30 th july.for three weeks
    Already won £4500 from nationwide.
so dont give up they do like to scare you but always seem to pay up in the end.:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
  • ADVICE REQUIRED PLEASE

If i make a claim and it is successful with Barclaycard, would Barclays make me repay my bank account overdraft?

I have a barclays bank account with a £3500 overdraft. I'm pretty much maxed out at the minute. I'm reluctant to claim back charges on this in case they demand full repayment. Charges of £500 wouldnt cover £3500 repayment.

I also have a barclaycard of £500. I suspect charges will be £250-400. I would like to claim charges back on this.

    Thanks in advance

  • pop down to your local court and ask about forms for suing your bank. Ask about whether you are exempt(if you are on benefit you may not need to pay to file a claim)

I'm in the same boat and it put me off claiming until now. I will get back to you with the results as soon as I hear anything

:A hi to all iam new to this site so far i have tryed to claim from barclycard they for 138.00 they ofered me 50 tunded this down they have now got back to me saying we note you are dissatisfied with offer but they are not prepared to consider my request for full refund so i guss its of to court for me but how do i do this looked at money claim on line but my partner recives pension credit so cant do it on there is there anyone who can tell me what to do and how to do the next stage thnks to any help :T

Go to your local court to issue proceedings. Does your partner receive the guarantee credit part of pension credit? If he does he will be exempt from paying the court fee. He will need to take up to date proof of his benefit and complete form EX160a which is available from the court. If he doesnt receive the guarantee element, he can still apply for remission of the court fee. For this he will need proof of all income dated within a month and will complete the same form EX160a. A section manager will then look at your financial position and you may only have to pay part or none of the court fee. Hope this helps x
