I need a name and address (if its not Churchill Place) for barclaycard. Basicllay, I'm trying to get charges back - got some, but i want them ALL (like everyone else). Anyway, they havnt just started to give the run around and fob me off, but have actually resorted to LYING, including telling me they have successfully defended (in a phone call two weeks ago) I dont want to give too much away at present, until my letter has been recieved at least, but I'm getting fed up with Mr Whalley et al taking me for a mug.

I was initailly being charged £20, which Barclaycard said they would payout the diference between the £20 charges and the £12 charges eg. £8, but they would not pay out solely the £12 charge. How do i stand?

You appear to be standing in the BS that Barclaycard is sending your way.

If you claim, you claim for the entire amount. They are just chancing their arm and posturing.

I am in the process of claiming bank charges from barclays and it suddenly dawned on me that I could claim for charges incurred on Barclay card!!

Contacted Barclays as 40days been and gone no reply asked guy for barclaycard number which he gave me. Contacted barclaycard who say they have no record?

Does anyone have any ideas? Dont know why I paid off balance when they have no record of it?

Any HELP welcome.

I applied to Barclaycard for statements for me & my wife like almost everyone here. My account was closed years ago so I'm spoiling for a fight as I have plenty of time.

My wife got the standard letter saying they'll give her statements from after 2004 & it may take up to 6 weeks for the rest. They also sent back our cheque of £20 for both of us as they couldn't find my account.

I think that I'm in a good position in the sense that Barclaycard sent me back my original letter with a 'Received' stamp & date on it so I'll send them a follow up letter for my wife & then on to the IC as I expect to happen.

I thought that it might be a good idea to apply to Experian & Equifax for my details going back 6 years. I might be able to find out my account number from there. Has anyone tried this? How successful were you?

I understand that it can be mildly irritating if I ask a question that has already been answered but I've painstakingly checked the whole of the Barclaycard board and not found any answers to this. Could someone point out to me any of the following -

1) Has anyone taken Barclaycard to court AND WON?

2) Did anyone get their microfiche information without being charged extra?

3) Has anyone been able to find a way to get Barclaycard to tell them their account number? I gave them my full name, present & previous addresses and my date of birth but no joy!
