After speaking to a 'Amy' from Cap 1 call centre (lol so obviously a call centre in India)..managed to get them to send out statements as I did not have my account number etc.

My question is how long does it take to get statements as they have already taken bloomin ages??!

Quick question: which address have you used to input in MCOL? I started with the PO Box address in Nottingham which is where all the correspondence came from and went to, but MCOL didn't like it. Do I have to use the Registered Office address at 350 Euston Road, London NW1 3JJ or to this one:
    CAPITAL ONE SERVICES INC
    TRENT HOUSE
    STATION STREET
    NOTTINGHAM
    NG2 3HX

Come on folks, someone must be able to answer me. Which address do you use for Cap1 in a moneyclaim: the Registered London address or the Nottingham address above? PLEASE, I need to get this claim out!

Hi there, i've requested my statements from capital one about 3 weeks ago (6 years worth), i didnt get them and spoke to them last week, they claimed "they may have got lost" or something, althoguh a few advisors i spoke to said they can see the day i requested them etc..., i did request them again last week and friday i got one statement, a copy of the the previous months statement

obviously i have no idea how much of charges i have incurred over the 6 years, (at a guess i'd say over £100 worth), should i just write to them using the template letter or should i insist the statements to be sent 1st.

Capital One, sends statements free of charge, obviously i could write to the DPA team with a £10 cheque, but if they are free i dont really want to pay for them.

any ideas how to proceed will be greatly appreciated

I requested my statements on 9th Feb. I was advised that if I requested the charges it would be a lot quicker than requesting all the statements..So that is what I did. I have called them 4 times to chase. First call advised 7-10 days, second call said that it was processed on 16th Feb so I should count 7-10 days from then. 3rd call told me 21 days and I called again yesterday, spoke to 'Mark' who told me that it would take up to 28 days...... hmmmmm:rolleyes:

    Hi

I have got a reply and offer from cap one and happy to accept as the account has been closed for some time now.
The letter does state that it will be paid into my account . I have signed it and wrote at the bottom that the account is closed and please send a cheque to me . is this fine and will they do this . what are my options .

    Thanks
