No but their up and coming ones may do and that is more a less what Martin explains in his recent video. We all may loose the opportunity to claim everything back!!
Nothing in stone but the advice floating around at the minute seems to be act now!!!0 -
Hopefully someone can answer my question.
I am claiming £400 from Cap one for late payment fees and overlimit fees. Today i have received an offer letter of £160 (difference between £20 and £12 charges). I dont really want to accept this. Do i have grounds to continue my claim requesting the whole amount or should i just accept this.
My argument is the OFT ruled on £12 being acceptable but these charges are from way back before the OFT made this ruling.
Help please advice needed:rotfl:"Penny Pinching Winch"

I am claiming from Capital One for 2 credit cards I have with them, 1 open and 1 closed.
They offered me a refund of the difference between the charges and the £12 they have now reduced it to but at the time, people were saying they still refused this and took their claim on.
I did the same and have my claim with MCOL now but I am now starting to worry because on a few threads I have been reading, people are now starting to say that on credit cards the £12 charge is now accepted by the OFT so we have to accept this offer
Is this true and if so what do I do now? Can I now contact them and say ok I accept the offer I turned you down for a couple of weeks ago0 -
My understanding of this is that the oft have recommended this amount for credit cards, and the letters you will receive from Capital one will state this.
Soon the oft will make the same recommendation for Bank charges.
The issue as i see it,is that whilst they quote this,it has not stopped people from claiming all their credit card charges back if they proceed with the court process. The Credit card company,s and soon the banks will just use it as a bargaining tool.
Not one Credit card company or bank has ever defended and stated EXACTLY how much each fee costs.0
