I have sent my claim of to capital one yesterday first class recorded, I 've incurred charges of £612.61 on a £500 limit over six years and I want back every penny of it. they now have 13 days to respond and counting.
Back to my earlier post I did receive my statement 5 days after I requested it online and i didn't even have to pay £10. Didn't even get a letter or anything with the statements just the statements in a envelope.Bank charges Reclaim:

I have just got back a reply from my original letter offering me a 'whopping' £48, that being the difference between my £20 charges and the lower £12 charge which they deem to be fair. I don't think so, 2nd, more threatening letter winging it's way to them now....
£48..... that takes the !!!! m8, take it all the way!Bank charges Reclaim:

Capital one sent me a list of charges since 2002, but March 2003 to November 2006 were missing. I wrote back, they apologised, and then sent me exactly the same. I wrote back, they sent me exactly the same - three times. I started in March. If I go to the court will they make Cap 1 pay everything? What worries me most is that the court fees are based on the amount you reclaim. If it's £450 for 2 out of 6 years, I don't know what the total might be, maybe over £1,000.oo. Anyone else had this or got any advice? Thanks.Night owl member Tventy Four ah ahWhere is the wisdom we lost in knowledgeWhere is the knowledge we lost in information. T.S. Yes i have had the same experience with crap1. I eventually got there in the end. My charges were over a 1000.00. Court fee was 75.00. I would get back onto them . Do you have the nunber of the reclaim dept for cap1. If not let me know and i will dig it out for you. Dont make a partial claim. You need to get it in all in one go hun x x x x xNight Owl Member No 1 :rotfl: :rotfl:

And dont forget when you take it to court you will be charging interest and you will get court fee back. Also when you have worked out your charges eventually when you have the full list to send letter to cap1 asking for charges back. They will say fooook off, then you can take them to court. x x x xNight Owl Member No 1 :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hey Smashed, are you following me? I don't know how you get about this site - have you got an e-bike? I'm not asking them again for the full list, I'm going with the assumption that if I put in the claim stating their failure to provide and Cap 1 roll over they'll have to pay up all charges under the court order including those up to present AND make up any sortfall in the fee I pay - Gnashingwild Anglegrinder did. and yeah, I'm going for interest - had the figures and everything ready, like for all the other cards, for months; just haven't been able to afford the court fees. Now I'm suing a bank a day this week (Citibank were served this morning). Costly, but just watch my £10 a day extra in August - it'll cover me til about xmas.Gillian says hi xNight owl member Tventy Four ah ahWhere is the wisdom we lost in knowledgeWhere is the knowledge we lost in information. just spoke to cap1 on the phone they are saying that as I closed my card account more than two years ago they do not have any record of it or my statements for that account in other words they have deleted it and there is no way to get the information back. This cannot be right can it? this account is still showing on my credit report so how can cap1 just lose it0
