hi everyone, ive just rang Capital one to request my statements back but they told me i have to send a written request and state why i need them, but from the first few posts on this topic that i read people were ringing for them, shall i just send a written request? thanks0

I filed in MCOL on 6/12. Cap one acknowledged on 14/12....... what happens now ?????0

You should send the first template letter in Martin's article, SAR request, along with a cheque for £10.

Bonjour all.
I have sent both the letters to capital one asking for my £1650 back including interest.
They originally offered me an awful £305... sent the second letter and they refused to up their offer and have said that is final.
Now I need some advice on the next steps i should take. Id like a quick resolution.
I presume i need to take them to court? If so what steps do I need to take for this? can it be done online.
Also there are alot of success stories on here especially for capital one but has anyone ever lost their case?
