Capital One

Hi all - a bit of advice please.
I have gone through the first 2 stages with capital one. I claimed about £460 and they offered £114, I wrote back saying it was unacceptable and yesterday they said they would not be refunding the whole lot and that this was their last response in this case. They referred to the financial ombudsmen but im not sure what to do next.
What do I do next? Shall I carry on or just accept the £114?
Any help would be greatfully accepted.

You have a choice of using moneyclaim online or your local court if you live in England or Wales or you could go via the financial ombudsman, whichever is best for you.0

Hi
This is my first post so be gentle
Thanks a million to those of you who have provided invaluable help to myself, and I'm sure, many others.
I have a couple of questions.
I'm claiming back the charges from Capitol One for my Dad, he very foolishly took a Capitol One card and before he knew it was in big trouble! The debt was handed to an debt agency to chase payment.
When he recently took ill, I discovered the letters demanding money. I contacted them and took over payment of the debt, paying £15.00 per month. The amount owed is/was £300
I wrote to Capitol One requesting his charges back which totalled £420 ( with interest)
I've received a letter offering £136 as a full and final payment. They stated if accepted , they would inform the agency of the reduction, basically taking it off the original debt.
My 1st question is: Is there any way ensuring this money is paid drect to my Dad and for me to continue with the payment plan?
I'd like my Dad to have the much needed cash.
Question 2: I don't see a second template letter for credit card reclaiming, do I go straight to MCOL or do I respond to Capitol declining the offer?
Thanks so much in advance

Dont accept it, write back and say you want the whole amount and if its not forthcoming you will take them to court, they will say go ahead, I have had this problem too, they do pay it directly to the debt collectors. However, if they paid out the full amount to your Dad he would at least get rid of the debt and have a little left over. Good luck.0

Hi,
I don't know if anyone can help me?
I sent a letter a couple of weeks ago to Capitol one requesting my bank charges giving them 14 days to contact me. The 14 days is now up and I have received nothing from them.
I'm not entirely sure that the address I sent my letter to is the correct one. I sent it to the registered address which is:-
Capital One Bank (Europe) PLC
350 Euston Road
LONDON
NW1 3JJ
Does anyone know if this is the correct address and if not what should I do now?
Any help would be gratefully received.

Result Capital One.
Was owed £644. They offered me £322 - full stop. Took claim out with MCOL. Capita One defended but two days later paid up in full. This paid off my card and they sent me a cheque for £102. GREAT0
