Hi
I had sent off request for statements from Cap One on 13th June. I recd statements and sent my request for refund of all charges on 22nd June. Yesterday, I checked my online account with Cap One and they have refunded £168 direct to my account. My refund request was for £588. Does anyone have a standard letter re accepting this refund as part payment only? Thank you....

Hi
Following on from both mine and Lorna's post. I have now recd written confirmation from Capital One regarding offer (which relates to difference between £20.00 + £12.00 new chgs!). However, I note that there is a section in the letter which states that when I opened the account they sent me a credit agreement which stated these fees, and by signing and returning the agreement I have therefore agreed to the T+C's.... But I NEVER signed the agreement or sent it back to them! Would we also be able to challenge this in the reply re their offer? Any thoughts would be appreciated0 -
i filed for court last weds on capital one cause they refused to pay up so hopefully they will pay up before the 28 days aswell0

I wrote to you on 20/06/07, making the original request for a payment in settlement of my claim. As I have not received a satisfactory response, I am writing to inform you I intend to claim the full amount claimed together with interest up to the date of judgment and court fees in the proceedings through the county court. wont this do ?
