    And btw, Capital One does not charge you at all for this info. There is also a freephone number on which to phone them which I don't have to hand, but I am sure it is mentioned in the Capital One thread.

    Ive been able to access my account all the way up until late last night and found it abit of a coincidence that my MCOL was served yesterday and acknowledged this morning.

    Called Cap 1 and about half an hour ago miraculously I can get back into my account?!?! Perhaps Im being paranoid but it seemed like a strange coincidence...

    Good luck with the claim.. heaven knows its nerve wracking enough once it gets to these stages! sport-smiley-001.gif

    HSBC £2518.68 1st Letter 15/05/07, Acknowledged 23/05/07, LBA sent 06/06/07
    Capital One £1112 Request letter sent, 11/06/07 offer of 348 received, "ill have a part payment pls along with the rest" leter sent
    Black Horse £25 supposedly?! - i think not! show me evidence!
    Halifax lBA sent 20/06, Rejection letter 22/06, Phoned for Reevaluation 25/06 ..the waiting starts

    Hi all you moneysavers !!!
    Just wanted to let you all know that i have won!!!!
    20/04 = sent letter for statements
    06/05 = recieved all my statements
    06/05 = sent my first letter (template of this site)
    22/05 = recieved my first offer of £382
    01/06 = sent second letter
    12/06 = filed mcol
    20/06 = acknoledge the claim
    21/06 = made me a final offer £382
    06/07 = filed a defence
    06/07 = made me a offer of the full amount including intrest and court fees £1465.93 cheque will be here in 14 days.

    Just thought i would bring all you moneysavers some good news.
    Stick with it they will crumble got to admit though i was very scared of the outcome but good luck to you all and thanks to pam you've been a great help to me.

    well done to u beckie, hope mine goes that way 2 could i just ask u did u ask for interest cos ive just ask for me charges bac and me court cost or do they just give u it automactically jill

    Thanks i am over the moon. Yes i did ask for my interest back i dont think that you will be able to add interest if you have already made your mcol.
    Anyway good luck i hope all goes well for you too.

    hi beckie the only reason i didnt ask for interest as i was reading a thread saying sum thing if u get it wrong then the claim might be dissmissed , so i thought i wouldnt take any chances lol , but going to do me tsb mcol very shortly and add the interest on that 1 but if i get me £1,000 i be very happy :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :j jill

    To be honest i didnt know whether i did it right too.lol I kept thinking have i done it right but i must off otherwise i wouldnt get my money back off them.
    I just used the calculater that is provided in this website it is quite simple if i can do it then it must be. Can i just ask though if they have defended the claim but also offerd me my money what do i do now? If anything!! They said something in there letter about telling the court how do i do that?
    Thanks again guys this thread has been an amazing support thoughout this claim and it is great when you hear people winning it spurs you on...

    P.S Jill i am with lloyds too. Can i just ask when you started your claim and if you have heard anything i started my claim on 20/04 and still not heard anything as soon as i get my money of cap1 i will do my mcol again (scary) i thought i would of heard something though!!!!

    hi beckie i first wrote to tsb on the 10th of april and ive phoned then 3 times wot they saying is they have 12 weeks to reply ,ive had a good will jesture on the 14th of june of £750,that seems to be the biggest good will jesture going but the lady at andover did say if pple do get a good will , then that will be all tsb are paying ,then she said if i felt that wasnt enough go to the fo. havent done mcol for tsb yet thought id do cap 1 first as my account is closed so when i do get me money back will be doing tsb , wasnt rushing to tsb cos i have a o/d so i think they will call it back in but least it will pay it of thanks jill
