I have just commenced my claim process against Clydesdate and vow to fight to the very end. They have screwed me for thousands of pounds and I will not rest until I get payback. Together we can make a difference if we do not quit.0

RE: Data Subject Access Request
We write to update you with regard to your request for statement details.
Requests of this nature are taking longer than anticipated to process due to the higher than normal number of requests received and the fact that the data is stored in archive and needs to be retrieved manually. Whilst approximately 70% of requests have already been posted, work is still ongoing to dispatch all outsanding requests as soon as possible.
Please be assured that we are deaking with your request and are looking to resolve all outstanding issues within the minimum possible timescales. Unfortunately we cannot deal with queries on an individual basis however telephone number 0113 288 2726 is a dedicated telephone line and will be updated with information on a regular basis should the situation change.
In the meantime, we thank you for your patience in this matter.
Yours Sincerely,

I rang the number and all it gave was a verbal version of the above.
Another delaying tactic by CB?

On June 5th I realised my bank account was overdrawn, and had been since the day before. I immediately put money in to cover what had been taken out, and extra just to be safe. I had gone £27 overdrawn because of a mobile phone bill I’d forgotten about (i was on holiday in london celebrating my husbands 30th). The bank instantly charged me £25. I paid it, and didn’t complain because it was my fault and I should have remembered the bill.
However, this morning I logged on to internet banking, something I do every day or two, and was overdrawn again. Now I knew that I didn’t have any money coming out and should have had money in my account. When I phoned the bank they said they had taken another £25 as a service charge for when I went overdrawn in June. So I have now paid £50 for being £27 overdrawn for 1 day.
<O:p</O:p
I would like to point out I am very careful with my money, and in the 10 years I have been with my bank you could count the amount of times I have been overdrawn on one hand!
What should I do? Should I just cut my losses? Should I change accounts to another bank? Am I being unreasonable getting so annoyed?<O:p</O:p
<O:p</O:p
Help!<O:p</O:p

Personally i would go into the bank and speak to the manager, or even ring them you will find that if all is as you say they will more than likely just refund the second 25 pound charge, be polite and curtious. I have done this before when a charge was put on my account because of the banks fault!!0

As the 40 days are up and still have not received my bank statements. I telephoned the Clydesdale bank this morning asking where are my statements, To this I was given another number to phone, Which I did to annoyance I was listening to a recorded message, explaining that because of the high demand they could not guarentee delivery of the bank statements within 40 days.WHAT ON EARTH DO I DO NOW !!!!! follow MArtin's advice and report them.
Then call them back and tell you you have reported them and you are entitled to this information. It's not your fault that they can't cope with demand. Banks have enough money to take on extra staff.
I gave Barclays one further week (7 days) and warned them that unless I had my statements by XXX date, I would be reporting them again.
The statements turned up 5 days later.
what do other think???
keep us posted about how you are getting on and keep your chin up!

My daughter sent Clydesdale bank 10 pound cheque to pay for her statements in March but still has not received them although cheque was cashed in March. Financial Onbudsman has been informed but so far nothing. I have written to clydesdale twice about a number of problems but not even the curtesy of a reply. They seem to be a shambles anyone else dealt with them and been successful? Any suggestions about where to go now.0

Hi,
I'd like to know if anyone else has had the same trouble as myself with the Clydesdale Bank. They cashed my £10 for my statements in February and I have STILL recieved nothing!! You don't pay £10 for a product and never recieve it!! I don't know what the next step is for me now. I had most of my statements anyway so I listed them and got them off though Clydesdale have never addressed my list, I should have taken them to court months ago, I was apprehensive due to the process itself and thought it would be sorted before now. There contact has been atrocious! I even had to log a 2nd complaint (with the first being the charges) about the way I'd been dealt with etc, after, I only recieved a standard letter regarding all refunding of charges being on hold, it never addressed the issues I'd brought up e.g. having never yet received my statements, after having to consistantly phone and chase up to find where my statements are, being told my details were lost, being told they were with the supplier waiting to come out and I'd have them in 2 weeks, surprise surprise, never received, this happened on several occasions. There is so much more to the trouble I have had with the Clydesdale, I have even logged a 3rd complaint regarding another problem I had with them, nobody is listening or taking me seriously and I'm getting so frustrated. What is the next step I take? I can't explain what I feel towards the Clydesdale, If I had a business and I ran it like that, I'd have no customers left and go bust! I work in hospitality, what happened when banks were fighting over themselves for your custom, now, we're pushed into having accounts by extra charges on household bills if we're not paying by direct debit! It's ludicrous! It's like we're bullied and our hands are tied. If I go to the Ombudsman am I going to be dealt with? As I'm hitting my head off a brick wall with Clydesdale, nobody is dealing with me, I'm being left to rot til it suits them. I don't advise anyone to bank with Clydesdale after my experience! Martin:A , can you please advise me?

How about editing your post so it has some paragraphs in it? It would make it much easier to read......0
