I thank you for your continued patience and understanding in this matter
CAN ANYONE ADVISE ME WHAT TO DO NEXT OR SHALL I JUST WAIT??
END OF 40 DAY PERIOD WAS 07 APRIL 2007
How much 'patience and understanding' did they show you when applying their charges?I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

This might seem silly but I am claiming against my Clydesdale bank account which I still use but i have lived in England for over a year now. So do I work and claim with Scottish or English law? Just got letter today saying they will get things to me as soon as possible so want to be ready. Thanks0

Clydesdale is part of the NAG (National Australia Group, as is Yorkshire Bank.) As you live in England, it would be proper to make the claim via the English court and law.0

Hi cactuslove,
wat stage are you at, the 8 week period lapsed, so they sent me another letter saying there investigation is not yet concluded as they are still in the process of assessing all the information, Im so sick of this, but not sure how to go about going to court as the small court claims for scotland is for £700 - £1500 and my claim is for £4130. It seems quite hard to claim for anything over that, with the scottish courts.
:j HAS ANYONE TAKEN CLYDESDALE BANK TO COURT FROM SCOTLAND AND IS OVER THE AMONT OF £1500......:j0 -
Hi there
Can someone help me please, I have sent all the stuff to the clydesdale bank and I'm now at the refund stage. I phoned to see that they have got my letter as its 14 days today. I was told that they have received the letter and they are sending out an acknowledgement letter and they then have 8 weeks to investigate.
Is that right ? I thought I was setting the timelimits, I gave them 14 days, now I have been told 8 weeks, should I start the court proceedings. Sorry this is a repeat question but I haven't really used forums before and there seems so much on this site.
Thanks in advance
The dirty swines owe me over £900 !0 -

Hi gillyd,
I think they can take that long before you can ask for the ombudsman's advice to help, but I think you can carry on with the court action regardless, because thats all that seems to be pushing them to pay out. I've not gone to the court yet because, im unsure how to go about it with the amount im claiming, and its through the scottish courts, as I have explained in my previous thread0
