Hi rosiemac14
Don't let my letter put you off - sorry! Just go ahead as you were planning. A good idea is to contact your local Sheriff Court, see if they have an In Court Advice Service. They are brilliant, and will help you a lot.
Also my partner has just had an offer from the BofS for 60% (his claim was for over 5000) There wasn't a lot of hassle with them. I think the CB are particularly difficult, but don't let that put you off!
I will keep you posted re what happens.0 -
rosiemac14, there seems to be an in court advisor in Kilmarnock, I found from this link: http://www.infoscotland.com/advice/af_displayGeneral.jsp;jsessionid=D34593A3C6C5C7AA6C627E50793BE928?pContentID=89&p_applic=CCC&p_service=Content.show&
Doesn't seem to be one in Glasgow!0 -
Worth contacting them, I found them to be very helpful - and it's free! :-)0

Hi there just been following your thread about clydesdale bank, just wondering how far had you gone with the letters, I just sent of the 3rd letter with the 7 days notice or starting proccedings with my named sheriff court. There time was up today, so what do i do now, do I go to the sheriffs court and ask to start a claim???
Look forward to hearing from you.0 -

I received my letter from Leeds office today along with a cheque for £ 463.25 ( I am claiming back costs of £ 2364.50) will not be accepting this. The letter now states that I have to get in touch with the finacial ombudsman if I am not happy. Who do I get in touch with?0

Is there a template for a letter to bank /ombudsman to say that I am not accepting their offer or do I just start court proceedings ?0
