Pity the OP did not confirm the dates, it could have been fun.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Disgusting how desperate they are getting. Local press must be informed. Go to there office and ask for an article to be printed they should like that rather than the boring local scoopsThe word about the scammers is spreading like marmite here in the westcountry.
We workers all love it and the ppc hate it :rotfl:0 -
It's very helpful of them to provide a list of some of their big-name clients. I can see some more letters coming up regarding breaches of the BPA code of conduct, supplemented by some information from that Parking Spy vs. Somerfield case regarding the illegality of certain aspects of PPC letters.Je suis Charlie.0

All this feedback is really appreciated.
The Housing Association (HA) has today sent a letter to all tenants, I think you might be interested if I quote part of their letter:The government has provided new legislation for members of the British Parking Association (BPA) which gives parking tickets issued on private property the same legal weight as those issued under the road traffic act. This means they should not be ignored. There is an independent appeals process which all BPA members use. If you require any further information about the changes in legislation please visit britishparking.co.uk.
I've highlighted the part I didn't expect. Interesting they feel we should get our advice from the BPA's own website!0 -

OMG , what utter rubbish
Which housing association said that?!!!!

Sound to me that the ppc wrote the letter for them.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Dates still important though, if it was before Oct 1 then the letter is nullified, if after then all appeal separately and cost them a bundle.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

OMG :eek:which gives parking tickets issued on private property the same legal weight as those issued under the road traffic act
You need to send a strong complaint to the HA, and insist they issue a correction to all the residents, and an aplogy for LIEING to them and providing misleading information.0
