Most of those suspended are coming to the end of their suspensions now, or certain ones have already had their access returned. Which scammers are you talking about ?

Just wondering, but does anyone have a list of all those currently suspended? Just noticed Managing Agent, a housing association, has instructed a known company to undertake "enforcement" action. Most of those likely to be affected are the elderly and the disabled. Would kind of like to keep up to date so as to step in if needbe.

Superman outfit is entirely optional, but possibly available.

If you want to act on this, check the lease relating to any one of the flats/properties and let us know what it says about the use of parking spaces and if there are any requirements to either display a permit, or abide by instructions from the management company with regards to parking.

Then let us know what it says and we will instruct further.

In 90% of cases like this the management company cannot operate a parking scheme on individual's spaces but only on the communal areas of the car park. They will be too stupid to know this, and will need educating (and put on notice) so that they don't start issuing tickets to residents, which WILL HAPPEN. It always does.

You need to nip this in the bud right now.

It's not actually happening on my site, just others this housing association run. They seem to have entered, without proper consultation, into a certain Car Parking Partnership.

I know my own lease gives me free use of the car park, and I've taken it to them when they tried to get it where we are. The other sites however seem to have been forced onto this, and from what I can gather residents there will be charged just over a tenner for permits. Completely unacceptable, as I imagine their leases will be similar.

Yes, very likely their leases are similar.

Feel free to point anyone you discover getting a ticket towards this website.

It is the residents who will get tickets, not any interlopers.

  • Sorry to revive an old thread but just to check I'm interpretting this right if you recieved a Parking Charge Notice from Excel Parking Services Ltd between 16/10/2012 - 15/01/2013 they can't apply for your details from the DVLA? They can't just send them after their ban is served?

They most definitely cannot retrospectively apply for tickets during the ban (OBS tried that once and the DVLA appear committed to not allowing it to happen again).

HOWEVER there may be some element of uncertainty over dates for tickets. If a ticket is applied to a car then the PPC has no reason to apply to DVLA until 28 days have elapsed. Similarly if by ANPR it is within 14 days.

If the ban is lifted on date X, then it could be that for tickets issued up to 28 days prior to that date then they can then proceed to apply in the normal way. So it could be date X minus 28 days depending on how the ticket was issued.

Can anyone else confirm or deny this?

  • Haven't read through this all, but if this Roxburge (sorry for spelling) are banned, they shouldn't have been able to send me a letter for debt collecting rubbish? I received this letter about a week and a couple of days ago. They are acting on behalf of PCM Ltd.

If there not, I will email the relevant DVLA place.

If they are collecting on behalf of PCM Ltd and PCM Ltd are members then they will be the ones who got your name and address, not Roxburghe.

They can start asking driver details from the 16/01/13 I believe, so that means they can get details from 28 days ago which is about 20th December or thereabouts

This is a grey area though as I think that the dca needs to be on the aos list as well. Simple thing to do is complain to the dvla on this and see what they say
