Excel, Roxborough & MET - SUSPENDED
Comments

I wonder if Excel/Met will simply do what OPC did and sit on the pile of tickets, ready for the DVLA to give them back access before jumping to stage 3 and getting their in-house debt collectors to write a letter.
Come after Christmas I wonder how many "I got a parking ticket from Excel back in October, first letter I've had from then is from a debt collectors saying that I now owe them £150 for ignoring their previously sent letters" threads will pop up.0 -
And if that happens, how much pressure will it take for the DVLA to make the bans permanent?!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

This is strictly a no no with the DVLA. One whiff of this and they'd be in SERIOUS trouble I suspect.
I don't think Excel would risk this to be honest (but on the other hand, nothing surprises me about the things PPCs get up to).Je Suis Cecil.0 -

The DVLA are well aware of what happened last time with OPC, and will be closely monitoring the requests once the ban ends. If they tried to sneak through a backlog, they could end up being banned for 12 months, which would be terminal for them.
I have been providing assistance, including Lay Representation at Court hearings (current score: won 57, lost 14), to defendants in parking cases for over 5 years. I have an LLB (Hons) degree, and have a Graduate Diploma in Civil Litigation from CILEx. However, any advice given on these forums by me is NOT formal legal advice, and I accept no liability for its accuracy.0 -

Which is an excellent reason for anyone who can to get as many Excel fake PCNs as possible. Either it will lead to their long term banning or it will cause a certain, less smug than he used to be, PPC owner a great deal of pain at the thought of lost income.0 -
My understanding is that quite a few people are already on this!!Je Suis Cecil.0

But then whats stops them doing a Cowboy Builder and simply phoenixing into another company. You get banned - simples, you set up another company in your wifes name.
I think you underestimate the cunning of a complete kent.0 -

Just wondering, but does anyone have a list of all those currently suspended? Just noticed Managing Agent, a housing association, has instructed a known company to undertake "enforcement" action. Most of those likely to be affected are the elderly and the disabled. Would kind of like to keep up to date so as to step in if needbe.
Superman outfit is entirely optional, but possibly available.0
