Also do I enter my local courts address in the letter
When your 14 days are up, if you don't hear anything more from the bank, move onto the next letter.
Just the name of your local county court is fine. Find your local court in post #6 in THIS THREADHow many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

No it is not to late. Start with the first stage to find out what your charges were. You can only go back over the last 6 years. Some people have managed to claim longer.Claiming against Lloyds TSB

Edinburghlass wrote:You will need to read the papers you signed on taking out your mortgage but it sounds like they "loaned" you an extra £1,500 because you didn't have the deposit rather than "charging" you.
Hi Edinburghlass. Thx for replying to my post. I stay in the southside of Glasgow, and the bank charged me an excess amount (£1,500) on top of the funding I wanted to borrow for my mortgage. I accept the fact that I did not have a deposit and that this charge was used as a precaution by the bank, just in case I defaulted on any payments. However, no such instance arose and I feel that the bank subjects people on lower incomes to higher charges. This charge was on top of the normal arrangement fee, and didn't cost the bank any further time or effort to add this onto my original borrowing (I didn't have the funds to pay the £1,500 at that time).
Any suggestions? Thanks again for your help

You could ask but ... they may expect it is used to reduce your balance.0
