I have today received my second letter from Lloyds/TSB offering £750.00 in full and final settlement
I have looked into the account and have claimed
£602.00 Unpaid D/D
£1,531.66 O/D Interest Charges
£1,360.00 O/D Excess Fees
If I am reading the article correctly I ma only able to claim for the Unpaid D/D and the O/D Excess Fees
Is this correct and if so do yiou think I should go to the next stage

i have 2 separate claims going to natwest one has gone through all the court papers and the other i have just issued a court letter to, i have received a letter directly from the bank awarding 1300 which is what i am claiming for the second account, if i agree to this one as there is no reference numbers on it, and i am assuming it is for the 2nd claim, is there anything that they could change to say that the offer they made is for the original first claim that is going through the courts thanks0

If you are accepting the amount offered make sure you say which account and claim it is for on your acceptance letter.0 -

£750 is the standard goodwill gesture from Lloyds to most claims which you can accept in partial payment and without prejudice.
You can only claim OD interest charges if you can prove that they were caused purely by bank charges and not normal over spending so if you are proceeding to court action you need to make sure your claim is correct as the bank will most certainly check your claim.0 -

Can I insist on getting refund in cheque as the bank loan is in my partners name and he had this before i met him?0 -
Can anyone help me?
I have commenced an MCOL claim against Citicards who, surprise surprise, are defending the claim!! I have today received a 'Notice of transfer of proceedings' which effectively transfers the claim to my local court.
The covering letter states that the allocation questionnaire should be returned to the Dartford County Court, however, there was no questionnaire attached?? Is there a specific document that I should have received?
There was also enclosed another document transferring the claim from Northampton County Court to my local court in Dartford. In this document it states that " It is ordered that the filing of an allocation questionnaire be dispensed with in this case unless the District Judge at the court of transfer orders otherwise"??
In essence, do I need to fill out an AQ or not and what does it look like etc etc etc
Thanks in advance0 -

I am hoping someone can offer me some advice. After issuing the final letter of 'I'm unhappy with your response....sort it or I'll take you to court. to Halifax credit card (they declined my first letter) for £668 without interest although I have claimed with totalling £774.20, I have today received an offer of £310 saying they won't pay any interest or the charges x4 of the current fee of £12.
I called and advised the 'lady' I won't be accepting their offer as its less than half of my claim to be told 'well I take it your going to make a court summons, you might as well cos you'll be waiting ages for them to review your claim again'!!!!!
My biggest problem though is that the acceptance slip states in really small writing that they will only pay into my credit card which kinda defeats the object of me gaining some cash. Is there any way around this?
Any advice would be greatfully received.0 -
