I have just received my statements going back to 2001 and I have "cleared transaction" charges which were £10 each can these be claimed back ? I can't seem to see them on the list and I don't want to mess up my claim.0

I have written to the nationwide to reclaim £700 bank charges, followed the instructions, have received a fourth reply from them which is a copy of the third reply, saying it would be unfair to other customers in similar circumstances to refund my charges when theirs havnt been. I cant afford the court fees at the mo, what do I do next??0

Not strictly true.
This is the last time you can add charges without having to pay to add them to your claim. Should you have any further charges you can complete the N244 at a cost of £35 which is not reclaimable.the way forward is the consumer action group .co.uk0 -

If you have waited the required 14 days then you can file your claim with the court. This will of course mean now that you are entitled to the interest an dapplicable court fees.

OK having sent my letter requesting £3145.56 including intrest i have today received a letter stating that they are looking into it and to allow 4 weeks.
My question is now - Do i need to send another letter giving them another 14 days to respond. Do I send letter 5 (unsatisfactory response) giving them until the end of the first 14 days (4th May) or do i just go ahead and start the claim at the end of the first 14 days
All help appreciatedRegards

If the 14 days are up from the LBA then you can file the claim at court. You could send a letter accepting the payment as a part settlement on thw understanding that you will continue to seek the balance.the way forward is the consumer action group .co.uk0 -

Hi The first 14 days are up on the 4th May. They havent offered me anything. Just sent a standard letter saying that it will take 4 weeks for them to investigate.
So do i need to send them letter five about an unsatisfactory response or just wait for the 14 days to be up and file a claim.Regards
