I left Virgin One account nearly two years ago. during my time with them I was charged etc.

Although I am no longer with them can I still claim back charges aganist my old account?

One cheque will be sufficient, I am claiming for two natwest accounts and I sent one cheque requesting charges for both. Got them both through a week ago.

I opened an Halifax account online, just in case Lloyds TSB throw me out.

They gave me a nice £1000 overdraft, which makes avoiding further charges that bit easier.

thanks, im not sure i should go with halifax - I have a credit card from them which I have missed loads of my payments (due to being n maternity leave with a huge drop in income). I spoke to halifax to see if they could help me with reduced payments and they said they wont do anything until I contact a debt management company.... I dont think they will want me as a customer..

    Hi please can someone help?
I have written to my bank (Barclays), on Saturday 31 March with an initial claim for bank charges stating further action if not replied within 14 days, I have recieved today Friday 13th April a reply that they have recieved my complaint. In their letter they state that they will respond no later to the query than the 3rd May and also enclosed a leaflet on how they resolve complaints - there is no reference made as to the nature of my complaint.

I am not sure as to how to continue do I wait until the date they give or do I carry on with my time table for follow up letter?

Money claims online - for taking people, in this case the banks, to court

If you missed loads of payments, then you will have also been charged by them? , and they will also owe you money back.

In any case, my point was that you can open an account online, you can choose you own prefered bank.

Just goto the home page - i am sure Martin will have some suggestions.

Hi i have been reading this site for a few weeks now and the post are very pleasing to read but is it just me and my partner that sit here at night thinking we will be the first people that will not get the money back?
we have started MCOL and now they are defending the whole claim,we are starting to panic a bit now as i have been reading things about questionair's and having to go to court has anybody else had the same response from HSBC and if so can they shed any light on time scales and what happens next?
sorry if this has already been posted
