I am claiming £1250 (including interest & fees) from HSBC using MCOL and they had until tomorrow to enter a defence. On checking MCOL earlier they have entered a defence and I believe I now need to wait for an Allocation Questionairre. Any idea how long that should take to come and what happens next?

Are they still likely to actually defend the claim or will they they try and make me an offer. I already turned down £850 prior to lodging the claim on MCOL and don't intend on settling for anything other than the full amount.

    Any advise greatly appreciated.

i am currently trying to get charges from lloydstsb, they have ignored my letters so i am now going to court. on the online claim form it requires an address for lloyds, however the one they gave me is not in england or wales and so the form will not recognise it. is there another address? shall i simply put down my local branch address or will this then somehow be used by the bank and invalidate my claim?

I requested statements from the address in my cheque book, but my dealings have been with this address since.

    hello

I have just done all my letters and will be sending them to the address thats on the statement..

does anyone know if you can open a bank account online

I opened an Halifax account online, just in case Lloyds TSB throw me out.

They gave me a nice £1000 overdraft, which makes avoiding further charges that bit easier.

Many Thanks coedkernew, how long after receiving the letter stating about the 8 week wait did you file for proceedings? Cheers Jay
