I've just been drafting up my 2nd letter to NatWest as I've not heard a dicky bird from my 1st letter requesting a refund. Looking at the template letter it reads........

"I am writing to inform you I intend to claim the full amount claimed together with interest up to the date of judgment and court fees in the proceedings through the county court.".......

Does this mean the that on the date of judgement I can adjust/correct the interest from the date each charge was applied? (this would mean that adding 8% interest on the calculator on the date I origionally sent my 1st letter is out of date)....if you know what I mean
  • I live in Scotland, can you use MCOL in Scotland? didnt think you could

Yes start MCOL when the days are up - always stick to your own timescales and not theirs. You have sent them letters informing them you will start court if the didn't reply so they are fully aware.

    Good luck :)

I'm not sure about Scotland but I live in the Isle of Man and I checked with MCOL helpline who said that as long as there was an address in England that the paperwork could be delivered too, I could put a claim in.
