EGG - PPI Claim upheld but still no cheque!

additionHi all, I am trying to claim at the moment. Old loans and creditcard. Who took over the loans? Barclays said they took over the CC but not the loans. Any help would be so much appreciated! I am stuck here with a stack of cash that should be mine, but no one I'm calling is playing ball.0

Hi,
I posted this in another section which doesn't seem to get many views.
Has anyone had similar experience with CSO to this:-
Received reply from Canada Square 2 weeks before Christmas upholding my claim and stating they owed me £558.As I'd been involved in an I.V.A (completed in Feb 2010)they required a copy of the completion certificate together with a signed acceptance form(included with the letter) and a cheque for the above amount would be issued to me.The letter went on to say that if I was still in an ongoing IVA I would receive a cheque for £257 and they would adjust my account by the remaining £301.
The acceptance form supplied makes no mention of the completed IVA option, which is the case that applies to me,only the second option.
I have replied saying that I accept the offer in principle but am unwilling to sign the form as it is,as it looks as though I am signing away my right to the full payment and would like clarification. As yet I've heard nothing more in almost 2 months.
Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this situation as it appears Egg are accepting their responsibility only to try clawing back some cash by small print.0 -
Write to them again and ask what's going on.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0

Received my refund letter on 28th Jan, and posted that night.
My wife received hers 31st Jan and posted 1st Feb.
I naively expected the cheque within a few days, but upon reading this thread am having the readjust my expectations.
Looks like that new car will have to wait a few weeks:mad:0 -
Woohoo! My cheque arrived on Friday, has been banked, so very ,uch looking forward to being £2,700ish richer come this weekend. It might have taken 3 months from sending the acceptance but it was worth the wait. Don't give up, people

Good to hear - gives me some faith that a cheque will turn up!:T0 -
Just tried to email Simon Cooper using the simon2.cooper@citi.com address and got a mail back saying it could not be delivered.
Have emailed Ian Clark and the crt.pleaseassist@citi.com twice and no response so far.
I will try calling them, I sent my acceptance form back using recorded/special delivery and according to the Royal Mail website it has now been sitting in the Worthing PO Box waiting to be collected for 10 days so far.
No wonder it takes so long for payments to get processed.0 -
I thought it would take about a month to be honest as letter stated 20 workings days.
Just didn't expect it would take 20 days for them to collect and acknowledge receipt of my acceptance form.0 -
They clearly have a policy of dragging their feet on this.
The letter I received on 28th Jan was dated 15th Jan - probably sitting in a pile of letters to send out for a couple of weeks. Didn't take notice if whether it was 1st/2nd class post either.0
