What is an ex-external drive?

I heard the disc spinning but I did not hear the Windows "chime".
The properties are still the same.
I could test it on my laptop but how do I test it?
an ex-external drive is one that is no longer an external drive - more a doorstop!
Plug it into your laptop. Wait whilst it initialises (and drivers are installed if required) Open Computer/My Computer, find the new drive letter (probably not J: on yours), then right click > PropertiesHow do I add a signature?0 -
