  • I can't say that i am happy with my lot but can say i appreciate many things.

14 years ago i fell in love. and i can truly say i was happy for the first time in my life. now that man i fell in love has become a negative person, also very selfish, self absorbed. inconsiderate and thoughtless. which is difficult to live with someone like that when i am a positive sort of person.

I was homeless when i was younger always dreamed of having a home, eventually many years later i managed to buy my house with my ex, which is my first proper home ever ,but sadly i have watch it deteriorate over the years and unable to afford the £25,000 worth work that needs doing which breaks my heart, but will always appreciate the roof over my head dispite my broken heart, i only have to think back as a runaway walking the streets at night looking at houses with the bedroom lights switched on wishing i had a warm bed to sleep in. that reminds me how lucky i really am.

I will always appreciate having a cupboard or freezer full of food as there have been times as a single mum some years ago only having £7.00 for a weekly shop and i would hungry for many days or only eat what my daughter would leave on her dinner plate.

    I now have my health

I only learn't to read and write at the age of 30 i was self taught and learn't through phonics from my daughters homework and reading books she was statemented with speical needs at school in the end she passed 8 GCSE C and D and was awarded student of the year.so you could say we helped each other. I am the one now in my household that writes out forms for everybody.

I am slowly working through my debts after many years and at times i have robbed peter to pay paul like many people on here . which has been difficult and worrying at times but i'm getting there .

Both my children and grandchild are my life my world my everything who have given me so much in my life and feel truly blessed.

When i see my kids smile and hear them laugh, feeling warm in the winter and a having a hot meal around the table then i could say i am happy with my lot.
Love is: A little bit of everything
A dream: take you away from reality
Hope is: What get you through
    A smile: Doesn't cost a penny
