Did you really think that the NHS sold Ipads?
Now if they were selling eye-pads, I could understand that.
Granted due diligence would be to contact HR and confirm and no doubt it would be publicised anyway0 -
I am in the same boat as several others on here. I ordered the Ipad along with several of my colleagues and now not sure how to progress. I have rung the number of administrators but no answer yet but I have just emailed them to check if my money will be taken or just come back to me? will update you if I hear anything. Credit card company have also stated they cant refund money until it has been taken....at the moment it is pending....does this make sense? I have also emailed the company to cancel. I presume that I now just have to sit and wait to see what happens?0

Subject: Wowbuys.com Limited t/a nhsdiscountsdaily.com and zappideals.com - In Liquidation
I confirm that the above named company was placed into creditors' voluntary liquidation on 31 October 2012 and I was appointed liquidator.
Unfortunately the company's two trading websites are not owned by the company and we have become aware today that for some reason the sites have reactivated without our knowledge or consent. We are investigating this matter but I can assure you that there is no prospect of you receiving the goods ordered as there is no company infrastructure in place.
Please pass this email to your Bank as evidence of the above.
If your Bank wish I can confirm to them the company's former bank account details, which I have asked to be closed.
I trust this is sufficient for your purposes.

*your payments should never leave your bank (but might), if the payment does indeed leave your bank then you can claim it back using 'chargeback' as you will never recieve your goods.

thanks for that. funnily enough i have just spoken to the administrator and he has stated that they have asked for the bank account to be closed but had no knowledge of whether it had been yet. For those who paid yesterday hopefully your money will be not be taken. As the trader himself, not the company own the website it cannot be taken down, although they have asked him to do it...so watch this space...good luck all

as mentioned above nhs dicounts daily is now in liquidation but having just spoke to the liquidators they now know that the director of the nhs discounts daily has sold on the domain. The new buyer has only been operating the site since friday. They currently have no details of the new owner and are awaiting the details of the sale agreement from the previous owner that will contain these details, when they do they will pass them on if you ring them, the guy was very helpful but he knows very little about this new company operating under the name of the previous company, all he knows is 1) it should never have been sold on as it was in liquidation and 2) the new buyer is unable to operate it in the name of "nhs discounts daily" as this is illegal due to that company being in liquidation:
the number for the liquidators is: 0330 330 9639.

I have spoken to the manager and was told the same, he was extremely helpful, however I have still not heard anything from the company itself . Have not received any email although from the last post, it does sound genuine. Will wait and see though if the refund is indeed honoured. All fingers crossed together. When you go on the site..I see new things have been added today....do you still se your oder under coupons? Mine is still showing so will see if anything changes there.

yes my order is still showing under "my coupons" and status is unshipped, no refund as of yet, will be keeping a close eye, i have had to cancel my debit card as advised by action fraud, they advised this as my card details are now out there and floating about an unsecure network, this may be overly cautious but better safe than sorry0

I would be wary of the fact the domain name has been sold even if the administrators say so, wouldn;t surprise me if he sold it to a mate and the same is going to happen again.
The price they had an ipad for last night was way too low for my liking0 -
