Nhs discounts daily!!

Options
Sorry if this is in the wrong place. I purchased a deal from nhs discounts daily of 2 Amazon kindle touch on 28th July, was told they would be dispatched within 21 days of the deal ending which was 31st July. The money for both was taken from by bank account straight away. After several emails 1 kindle arrived on 24th August but I still haven't received the 2nd one and have no form of contact with these people other than email which I have done several times but am getting nowhere with them at all they just keep saying demand was high so they will be sending it soon!!! I have asked for my money back but have had no reply to my email as yet, just wondering if anyone knows what I can do next please. Any advice would be appreciated thank you

    How much did you pay?

You say that the money was taken from your bank account.
Did you use a debit card for the purchase, or some other method?

Can you please provide a link to their website?

I guess you have no address for these people then?
  • They have a website and if you log onto the Facebook page, it will give you their address.. Perhaps you could share your experience with others as well..

Hi I paid £75 each for the kindles and i paid with a debit card. Quite new to this so sorry don't know how to da a link but its just nhsdiscountsdaily.com, similar to groupon. No address just an email address its a genuine enough site just wondered if anyone knew what I should do next as it's been way over the 21 days they agreed.

Can't find them on facebook at all have just had a look, there is a similar named site offering discounts for nhs staff but the one i used is open to all and is similar to groupon and offers deals on products and services such as haircuts, facials, spa breaks etc.

You could get your debit card provider involved.
Have a read of MSE's Debit card chargeback article to find out how.

  • HI I have also not recieved the kindle that I ordered, I have emailed their customer services 3 times now - fobbed off twice with its being despatched in next few days, but nothing yet. I am going to get my bank involved. Have you had any luck with yours yet?

  • Hi,

I bought one of these too (£75.39 inc p&p) and have yet to receive it. I have emailed them numerous times to both nhsdiscountsdaily and Wowbuys too but have been fobbed off. I have taken advice from the CAB and they have suggested I write (via recorded delivery) to them requesting my money back. I can also contact my bank to request a chargeback (as above) so I will be doing that first and will see if I have any luck! I am using twitter as a way of publicising the bad customer service I have received from them - letting everyone know to avoid them. I even messaged Wowbuys on Facebook (nhsdiscountsdaily has been removed...or I've been blocked!) but still not had a response.

    Good luck to everyone!

Hi, I too have been stung with the same deal paid with debit card. Their facebook site was removed when it was over ran with lots of us threatening trading standards etc on them, I have now been advised it is being dispatched around 5 times by someone called Natalie, apparently their Ceo was sorting it last week - they told me all orders were being sent last week for delivery - no reply from them this week by email!

I'll believe it when I see the kindle in my hand!
  • Hi, well after getting in touch with HSBC earlier on today they have used the 'chargeback' procedure so I should have the money back in my account within 24-48 hours. I was feeling too anxious and stressed about not receiving it - I just didn't want the hassle anymore so now nhsdiscountsdaily can go whistle for my business! I too got two whole emails from a Natalie Cole but after saying she would contact customers on 10th September I gave up. It's been nearly 8 weeks in total and enough was enough!

I recommend doing the chargeback as there's no way they'll refund and when they do refund they put it on the account so it's left there on their website - not in your bank! I have £6.99 stuck there and they won't reply to me. Cut your losses (well the offer on the Kindle) and get your money back! Make sure you publicise your problems so no-one shops through them! Proper cowboys!
