    There are lots of posts stating that closing bank accounts, cancelling cards, etc, does not remove the your responsibility to pay the money that you have agreed to pay NHSwhatever.

    Have to agree with this Unhapp, dont get why you went to all them lengths changing bank accounts and cancelling cards as well as advising others to do this.

    I am was one of so many honest citizen ripped off by this company.
    There is a very serious problem here. This company is currently under liquidation so accordingly to laws they are not able to operate-sell products- anymore.

    THIS IS FRAUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!AND MANAGER OF THIS COMPANY MAY FACE VERY SERIOUS ALLEGATIONS AND PROBABLY GO TO JAIL!!!!!!!

    Pls everyone report them to Fraud Agency mentioning what I stated above.
    Only by acting together we can stop this fraudster.

    the branch manager stated that because there were no pending payments i was able to cancel the account, this would also ensure that no future payments could be taken (due to the site being fraudulant i thought they may attempt to take payments over & over as has been written on past threads). As a bank manager i assumed they knew best and so followed thier advice and also advised others to do so, stupidly i now realise as it hasnt made one iota of difference and the payment has been taken from a closed account. as the brach manager advised me no payments could be taken i think i have a leg to stand on but we shall see on monday. ultimately i realise nhsdiscounts is to blame, not the bank. but this scenario further shows that no-one in natwest seems to have a clue what they are talking about and depends on who you speak with as to the advice you receieve - this seems to be the case for many banks reading these threads!

  • OMG I purchased 2 iPads yesterday for my kids for Xmas from this site and after reading some of these posts am now suffering chest pains. Guessing I am not going to receive them but will have to wait till deal ends before I can do anything :-(
  • On the advice of my credit card company , who told me not to try and cancel the order, but to email the site and ask for a delivery date, this is what I received:

    If I am honest I am not expecting to receive anything but the CC provider have said if its not received within 21 days they will refund me as long as I haven't cancelled the order.

    Seems they have changed the website now so you have to sign up for the deals
  • I have spoken to Chris at KSA they are dealing with the liquidation of Flash Incentives and also spoke to David at Chatsworth who is dealing with Wowbuys,both of which are owned by the same person. This person is also the Director of Zappideals who are running the NHS site which is still offering deals and indeed it was from that site that i bought (ha ha) my IPAd from an email that was sent to by NHS email address on the 12th November. My money has gone and unfortunately i paid by debit card so no guarantees of getting it back. Both the above people were extremely helpful , David at Chatsworth says that the owner is denying that he us still running Zappideals but i believe he is either directly or indirectly. Its all an awful mess and is beggars belief that this can happen,and nobody in authority seems to be able to stop these sites. At least though, i have it blocked on the NHS site where i work.:mad:

  • just to let you know - that following emailing the company and cancelling the order last week - they took the money from my account on Saturday - i was panic stricken, given the emails etc that i had read here on the site my worry was that the refund wouldnt be processed, or that it would go to credits on the site....however - I got my full refund to my bank account!!!!
    somehow tho i am now thinking that maybe the website was for real after all - since they have actually came good with the refund. I am now wondering if people will start receiving the ipads.... if people get their goods could they post here to advise???
    am relieved that i havent been left with nothing but will be disappointed if it transpires that the new traders were genuine and that i would have received the ipad at such a good price, guess its been a lesson learnt either way!
